I also love watching horror/suspense/thriller movies but when its time to go bed, I will have a flashback of the movie that I had watched then I get scared. So When I watch a scary movie in the morning, you would expect me to sleep with lights all open at night.
The movie that made my nights misserable and took me two months to finally sleep with lights off again is Exorcism of Emily Rose (Gosh just typing the title of that movie gives me creeps). Maybe that movie had so much impact on me because it is true to life. I know it happened in real life so I got scared it might happen to me too. Paranormal Activity also disturbed my sleep so I did not watch its sequels.
Silence of the Lambs is a good movie. Try watching it.

The Exorcism of Emily Rose freaked me out a bit, too, Lara! I don't normally watch those types of movies, but as Laura Linney is one of my favorite actress' I watched it. They always creep me out because when I'm alone after I've seen that kind of movie I keep imagining I'm seeing things, haha!

actually I am not interested in horrible movies. because I think it can easily cause some problems in my daily life, especially at night, though I am an adult now. sometimes something can make me nervous. I have experienced a film called The Evil Ring at Midnight which made me trembling. and from then, I never watch horrible films.

Hi anusha! I love scary movies. I'm very jumpy and easy to scare on an every day basis, so scary movies have me covering my eyes, squirming in my seat, making pathetic startled sounds. I'm fun to watch one of these movies with. Most movies now a days don't really frighten me that much they're so predictable anymore. And all these movies like Saw with all the gore are just not scary to me...they're just gross and make me want to toss my cookies, haha!
What I DO love are good old Asian horror films. Now THOSE are creepy. They know how to weave a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat and throw in a creepy looking character that moves in a way that makes my skin crawl. Or drop in a twist that you just didn't see coming. And most of the plots are original, which American movies are lacking in originality anymore. Everybody wants to either be as disgusting as possible or re-make something else.
I also really enjoy ghost movies...for some reason they just creep me out. There's three movies that I can remember that gave me the residual "heebie geebies". The first Final Destination had me thinking I was seeing shadows and things all around me that night on my way home from watching it in the theater. Thirteen Ghosts made me not want to go to sleep that night. And White Noise creeped me out every time they showed the three shadow men. Just thinking about it gives me chills!
Also, I think one of my favorite horror movies of all time is The Descent. It's a British movie, and it just really left an impression on me. I've seen it loads of times and it still makes me jump! The second one was actually pretty decent, as well, and worth taking a look at if you were a fan of the first one.

The grundge!
That movie scarry the crap out of me.
I was terrified for two weeks and I couldn't be in the dark at my own home. I never saw something so scarry as the Yoko girl/ghost coming down the stairs doing that terrible noise! Omg I just remind about that again, hahaha!

I remembered I ever watched a movie titled 'Friday the 13th'. I watched that movie with my mother and sister. I was really scared at the time when I watched it. I still was 8 years old. 'Friday the 13th' was like movies series which was televised every Friday. I always scared when it came to the Friday night because of nuances and atmospheres from the movie presented.
Now, I am not scared anymore. I am a grown up. There are almost no any movie which can scary, because I thought Friday the 13ht was the scariest movie I ever watched and there are no movie which is as scary as 'Friday the 13th'.

There was a period when I kept on watching horror movies. It kind of affected my daily life. I was too scared to even go to the toilet. I had to drag my sister with me whenever I go to the living room alone. One time, I was alone reading my textbook. I heard someone talking outside my door. I yelled and run to my parents' bedroom. Now that I think about it, it was probably one of my neighbors. But it was really scary LOL.
Some horror films that I find scary are The Sixth Sense, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Exorcist, The Eye (Hong Kong), Ring 0 (Japanese), and The Eye Infinity (Hong Kong), Insidious.

I was a movie addict before, going to the theatres atleast three times a week, and I liked all kinds of movies including the scary ones. The most scary one for me was "Dracula". That was really amazing ! These days, I don't like to watch those kinds any more. I prefer musicals and comedies, more relaxing and enjoyable.

Hmm, this is an interesting question to consider. As far as the movie that actually scared me the most I would say The Strangers the first time I watched it in theatres. It just creeped me out a lot. It isn't scary to me on second watch, but the first watch was. The concept that scared me most though even though I didn't really like the movie all that much was Paranormal Activity. The movie didn't scare me at all, but after the fact when I was in my apartment at night, I was so creeped out thinking about the events that occurred throughout the film. I even slept with my closet light on for a few nights because of it lol It just affected me in a weird way after that fact. Neither of these are my favorites in the horror genre, but they're the first that come to mind in reference to the initial question in terms of actually scaring me.

One movie which scared me the most is Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the 2003 remake. I was 11 years old when I first watched it, and that was too terrifying for me at that time. Even until now, I haven't screamed at any other scary movie yet
but only at Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I love horror movies! Especially when I watch them with my friends! It's fun watching them be all serious and start screaming when something scary happens while I just sit back and laugh at them. I wouldn't want to watch a scary movie by myself, that would make me cry! I have seen a few horror films and I would have to say that the horror movies these days aren't that god. They're so cliche and predictable now. Like paranormal activity for me personally was done quite poorly and it gave me a headache. I liked how it tried to make it seem real life but the quality was just awful. I reckon the the most scariest films are the Asian ones like the original the Grudge. I found Donnie Darko quite eerie and creepy, quite a good movie.
