What if someone offered you a house, for a very cheap price, but you discovered or you know that someone has been murdered there, would you still buy the house and live there? Will you consider living in a house where there can be ghosts or can be jinx. Thanks for the answers! happy mylotting!!!!

Definitely. There is negative history attached to nearly every plot of land no matter where you go, and knowing the history of the house would be an excuse to research the crime and gain knowledge of my home and neighborhood. The house my husband and I own had a previous owner pass away in what is now our bedroom, and we have had a lot of paranormal activity here, especially poltergeist activity (we've had bookshelves rearranged that were too heavy for me to move back without my husband's help, for example; we've also had physical objects appear and disappear from various places in our home that we'd never owned or seen before). To be fair, I believe we've had two different entities throughout living in our house; the first was the previous owner, and I think I brought the next home from my mom's old house. Paranormal stuff doesn't really bother me. I've had a lot of experiences, and I've researched enough into it where I wouldn't be afraid unless the entity was of a demonic nature. Otherwise, there's very little spirits can do to hurt you, and having a spirit occupying the same house can actually be extremely interesting. The only problem is that our cats don't really care for the paranormal; normally when experiences occur, they are more freaked out than us! As for "jinxing" or being affected by negative energy, that's something I think I'd be able to assess after being in the house just to see it. My body has always had an acute sense for the energy left behind from past history, whether positive or negative, which is part of the reason I left home and eloped...my family was beginning to experience so much negativity that it seemed to seep from the very walls. I would consider negative energy to be much more dangerous than spirits, in fact, so if I felt cautious when seeing the house, I would probably turn the offer down.

I dont believe in ghosts anyway.. So I wont be afraid to live there..but the problem is killers tend to roam around the house where they murdered..SO if killer is catched its ok....BUt i really want ghosts in my home..It will be thrilling in this monotonous life...

I can say thanks to those who would like to offer me such house and lot. I will buy a cheaper one even it is a small one rather than to have a house with a ghost as bonus. I cant live in a house with a ghost that i can hear their screaming at night and restless spirit who disturbed me during sleeping time. For sure they are always bothering those people who will live there. And if i accidentally bought that ghost house i will not put off the lights...day and night!

I'm not sure weather there will be a ghost or not, it just doesn't feel right for me to start a new living in a place where someone is killed and the justice hasn't been done.

well, if I am living there with like 6 or more people, I would take that offer! I will also make sure I am never alone at that house. But if I am alone or even if I have just like 3 or 4 people to live there, I wouldn't take that offer.

Oh no I can't do that, that's terrifying. I think even houses that didn't had these terrible histories might be haunted, let along a house that someone was actually killed in it.

hi:) probably not, I am afraid of ghost and also if somebody bad happened to that house, the memories will still be there, so it could be a jinx.

I would probably want to still buy the house and live there because I think it would be kind of interesting and exciting to know that there could be a ghost over your shoulder at any time. Although I think it could be quite scary at some times but still worth trying. Would you be up for it?

It would have to be a mansion for an extremely cheap price. The house has to be waterfront property and cost only $10,000. Are there any? LOL

You have known the truth,so i donn't think that's a good idea living in it.Even if you donn't believe the ghosts or something else, you will think the murder sometime, that's terrible. We all donn't like live in the shadow, yes?

That's a tough question. My first response would be no. I'm not sure I would like the idea of someone being murdered in my house. I sort of believe in ghosts, but I don't think that just because a murder happened in a house that the house will be haunted. If that were the case there would be a lot more haunted houses around. I think it would depend on the details of the murder. If it was a really violent gruesome murder then I couldn't live there. If it were a heat of the moment thing where someone lost control but normally wouldn't do that then I might consider it. It also would come into consideration where the murderer ended up. I wouldn't want to worry they might come back.

i don't think i can live in a place where a murder had happened. not because i dread about spirits or anything but it will be very uncomfortable thinking about the murder. our mind is very powerful and it can really affect us many ways.

thats a good question! theres a new show I've been watching called American Horror Story, it was very difficult for them to sell the house because of the murders that have all taken place in that house. I don't think I would be able to live in a house knowing that. I guess I would have to decide once I went there and see if I could get over it or not. I would probably not even consider it, especially now with that show I'd picture all those things happening to me from the ghosts who are living there lol.

For me I will not live a house wherein a person has been murdered. As I read your post, I am already scared. I fear ghosts. But if you don't mind the incident happened at that house and do not afraid of supernatural beings, then take the house.

That would be a very good offer.I would consider it.:) I am not that superstitious man,and I don't really believe in ghost as I have never seen or felt one ever.If ghosts will show up that would be good because my doubt about the existence of ghosts will be gone.If no ghost appears that will also be nice too.

nope,i wont..definitely not... They say that if a person is murdered the spirit will come back till it is given justice..Sometimes they stay to where they were killed because they still don't want to die but force to die... I am so sure that if i will live in a house like that i will have to spend all nights sleepless.. Just thinking about it makes me shiver..
