How important is beauty in your daily life?

When one is young, the more she is concern of her beauty and appearance. When you are in the courtship stage and still looking for your dear one, beauty matters most. But when you are secure and matured, beauty begins to be an inner characteristic that need not polishing at all.

I used to weigh a lot more than I do now, and because of that I never used to bother about the way that I look. Now that I fit into much nicer clothes, it's made me a lot more interested in the way that I look, and therefore I spend more time thinking about my make up and clothes than I might have done in the past. I would never let it take my life over though, because life is far too short to be worrying about the way you look, so I would never do this at all. Beauty is what you make it, and nothing is more beautiful than a smile.

I just want to look clean, and wear decent clothes.

I agree that beauty is important in our everyday life, especially for us girls. But we have different views on how we feel beautiful. For some, dressing up and wearing make up let them feel pretty. While for others like me, being clean and neat is enough. This might be related to the post so I want to share this quote that I read in twitter: "the best makeup is SMILE. HI reco! It depends on how we look beauty in our own eyes. Hmm..how to say it? For me beauty is not hundred percent rely on the used of make ups and physical appearance only. I should be both the inner and the outer of ourselves. It is good if we can make it the best for both of them naturally.(^^)

I agree with what you've said. Good heart is a must. Yes. For me, beauty is really important because it is pleasing in the eyes of others and being beautiful is a lot of things. You can please others easily, convince them, ask a favor but its not ta take advantage of it too much. Like when looking for a job, being beautiful is a plus factor. Anyway, whenever I go out, I also want to look my best. I can't go out with my hair so messy, without a powder and comb, and many more. I wanted to look neat, clean and pretty at all times that's why I also have mirror with me so that I can check what do I look every single minute. But still, attitude matters. Beauty would just be wasted if a person doesn't have a good heart. Anyway, that's all. Happy mylotting.

Beauty is important, though I don't pay attention to the details that much. I keep things simple and I just make sure that I have proper hygiene and presentable clothes. I am always in a hurry to leave the house so I don't have much time to dress up and fix my hair in a fancy way. I agree with you that a person's inside is also important. A good look would become useless if you don't have a good heart at all.
