Theres no sense to have peace talks with these criminals. 19 soldiers were killed during the encounter. My heart broke watching the news. This is not the first time where soldiers are killed by these lawless individuals. I just hope PNOY will give justice to those soldiers killed and stop this senseless killings. May the souls of those soldiers killed rest in peace.

Upon hearing the news about the incident where 19 soldiers had been killed,My initial reaction was ,here we go again and thinking if these conflicts between the rebels and the Military ever gonna end....countless lives had been lost not only soldiers, rebels but also innocent civilians...
Its been going on for ages and numerous proposals,Ideas and possible solutions from all out war to peace talks, haven't accomplished any positive outcome and nothing seems to be working....
I'm having a hard time understanding what MINLF and other groups really wants to achieve, their struggles,goals,Ideals,...and what it is that they're fighting for?RIGHTS?...what rights?....I don't know anymore.
I think this is a hopeless situation...
Do they want their own independent state?......if that's what it takes to finally have a lasting peace in that area let them have their own country....

my heart goes out to the family who have been left behind by those soldiers. those were decorated soldiers who have achieved much and will achieve much more if only they were not ambushed by those rebels. i too hope that Pnoy will not let those deaths be a waste. justice should be served to them

All Filipino grieves for the loss of all those young soldiers and condolence to their families but theirs always a sense in peace talks. Don't just lost hope that we can have a peace talk with the M-I-L-F and Abu Sayyaf because of this incident, i mean, if we go all out war with those groups, more blood will be spill, more families will be lonely, more money will be spend, hatred will spread and all of this is what we called NON SENSE.

Another series of killings happened over the weekend. It is again done by these bandits. The govt should show an iron fist so that these lawless people would think twice to commit crimes. I go for ERAP, all out war. during his term a big camp of the bandits were attacked and it stopped the apprehensions of the locals. The govt. should make their presence felt and let these bandits know that they don't own mindanao. They should be given limitations in terms of their territories and be monitored by the govt soldiers in case they would again think of doing crimes. The leaders who represented the MILF for peace panel failed to inform their men on the field to stop the operation against the govt soldiers. If they were sincere to have peace, they should have informed their troops but they dint. what a butt*@!*.
