What makes a true best friend?

Hello aakirk, a kind of best friend that makes stand out from the rest of our friends, is a friend whom we can trust in many ways. A thing that a friend can make special into our lives, must know what are your likes and dislikes and most of all the very important thing in life to have a special friend is a God fearing kind.

My best friend has been my best friend for years. We've had ups and downs and we now live a couple of hours away from each other so we don't see each other a lot. But we write, and email and the one thing that stays the same is that no matter how long since the last time we talked, it seems like we can pick up right where we left off! There's no awkwardness at all. We tell each other everything and talk about everything. She's been by my side through all the good things and the bad things in my life!

A best friend is someone who is loyal, trust worthy, forgiving, honest and sincere. So many more qualities to list. A true best friend is someone who you can hurt unintentionally and accept your apology. A best friend doesn't doubt your sincerity or your friendship. A best friend doesn't walk away when times get tough. A best friend doesn't hold grudges or seek revenge. In my life I have had many special friends but one best friend. Sadly to soon she has passed away. But I honor her everyday and choose to be the friend she was to me.
