I think you have to take action. If you want something so bad, you have to take action. Most people tell you to dream about it, but I don't think it's enough. You might dream something periodically, but if you don't take action, I don't see you going anywhere.

well my first step of becoming successful is determination.as we all know, determination is the key to success and without it you cant move to the next level to achieve success because if you're not determined,a lot of distractions and temptations will divert you from achieving the things you need to achieve in becoming successful.

Hi Greninee, My first step to success is to have faith in myself. This has been reinforced by a favorite quote from a famous monk Vivekananda "If you have faith in millions of mythological gods and many gods history has introduced and still do not have faith in yourself, then there is no salvation for you". This is a profound affirmation for any one interested in personality development. Believing in one's ability to succeed is really the first step according to me.

Hi Greninee! Honestly, I don't know what is the "first" step to become successful. What's important to me is, we should know how to look back and give back to those who helped us. Whether they been a hindrance or support along the way.
Sucessful for me is not just a record of achievement. But it is also a record of whom you have dealed without hurting going to victory.

I think, i studied well and graduated in College, that's my first step to becoming successful. After that, when i applied for my first job, i got hired. Then when i resigned i was able to get another job again.
My going to school until i graduated helped me a lot in becoming what i am today in my job. I am glad, i studied well.

Hi Greninee, firm trust in God is one of the keys to success. In His hand - not in our hands or in our fellowman's, no matter how wealthy and powerful he is - is "power and might". With God all things are possible (Matt. 19:26). And because of His abundant wealth, He can supply all our needs, including success in our good aspirations in life (Phil. 4:19) His blessings will never run out as long as we completely trust Him. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will direct your paths. Don't be impressed with your own wisdom."(Proverbs 3:5-7)
