I read an article the other day, and I stumbled on (Bizarre baby names: banned in New Zealand).
I could only shake my head to some of the names I read. ei. Lucifer, Duke, Messiah, and 89. But the one that did it for me was
(this is not a joke, real name.) Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116, pronounced Albin. A child's name in Sweden. Now my question, because of parents in the world that have no sense should some names be band?

I do think that there should be a governing body that could ban or allow names. I don't really know what parents are thinking when they start naming their kids in such a weird way - in order to feel unique - only to be hated by the kid when it grows up (ending pretty much on the trash bin by changing their names).
I have a cousin who is named Nike after the shoe manufacturer. There's another one who's named New York, in the hope that the kid could someday go to the city. Err?!
I do teaching jobs as part time and you couldn't imagine how the names of some kids sound. It's as if it's a prank so as the teacher would get tongue twisted early in the morning. Not to mention that some of the kids' names make you wonder of the real gender and the reason why the parents thought of those. There's even those who I couldn't even decipher on how it's read.
All in all, I think parents should consider how the child would feel.
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

i agree with you parents must really think over and over again before they give their child weird name cause it would be their identity forever or maybe not forever because he/she can request to change it legally when he/she have a cite a good reason to do so but its a very long and expensive process.

That's really interesting actually. I am not sure the number, but a convincing amount of parents regret the name they give their child.
I think parents should be clever (without being foolish) with their child's name so that the child can appreciate their names in the future. There are plenty of names to choose from, some of which are very unique with very unique meanings in history. So choosing a name without thought should be unnecessary.

I dont think games should be banned but I also dont think that people should be finding the wierdest names for thier baby because thier child will live with it forever. In the end it is the parents choice and if they choose a strange name i guess that is thier decision

I don't think some names should be band but maybe someone needs to tell these people should pick names that aren't so weird. I picked a good name for my daughter. In the US there are lot of kids name different things. One person here name there child Apple I don't find that one too odd but there are odder ones out there. Its funny to see what other people come up with.
