Private Cars or Public Transportation?

Many people appreciate the convenience of private cars.A private car gives more comfort and mobility and enables people to go whenever and wherever he like,so he can enjoy his leisure to eht full by making trips to the country ot seaside at weekends,without the annoyance caused by waiting for buses or trains.
But public transportation is also attractive.With someone else driving for us,we can feel relaxedon a bus or subway,And pbulic transportation helps to lessen air pullution and traffic jams.It costs us less money and brings more jobs for others.

What you say about public transportation is true, in certain metropolitan areas such as New York or Chicago, at least in the US anyway. They have transports running at almost all times of the day.
But where I am, that is not the case. Some areas are serviced by buses only once every 20-30 minutes; even in town it can be 10-15 minutes. These are at peak times, and the interval rises during off peak times. Unless your destination is in town, you have to transfer to a bus that is going to the suburbs. So with traffic, you have to wait for your bus, then wait at the next stop for your transfer bus, and that can be long if you just missed it.
Traffic is terrible, that's true, but if we had a better mass transit infrastructure, it would be a more viable option.

Oh I would not say that. If you are going in or out of town during the morning or evening rush, traffic can be at a standstill in some places. But that's where I get back to the infrastructure, because with few exceptions, the buses are in the same traffic that you are. Couple that with having to wait for a bus, and maybe not getting on because it is full, it is easier here to drive a car.
Now in parts of New York city the opposite is true. Mass transit runs almost constantly, they have a well developed subway system to move people around. Roads can be crowded with cars and pedestrians, and there are not many places to park. It's easier there to use the transit system, in most cases.
I use mass transit when I go to Las Vegas as well. I can get a bus pass for the whole week for less than the cost of renting a car for a day. The strip is heavily congested with cars at times, as well as pedestrians. You go no place fast.

Oh, maybe subway helps traffic.It's different between town and city.Cars in the town are efficient but useless in the city .

Private car gives more comfort but petrol price is high and only for single person use car is not good if public transportation facility is there then we should use it. If the person is going with family then car is better but drive should aware about all time.

Personally,I hold that more stops brings more time before arrive.A bus should not have too much stops.

Private cars are definitely a convenient and cozy traveling vehicles but i found the fair very costly than public vehicles. I can save money from riding public transportations but the disadvantage is i inhaled more air pollution. Our popular public transportation is jeepney or once called "Undisputed King of the Road". It is a symbol of Filipino creativity and innovation but now being surpassed by the big buses which can level the inexpensive and efficient transportation.
