embarrassing or uncomfortable situations**

have you had any embarrassing or uncomfortable situations? what was your reaction? After work one day I was thinking of what to eat for dinner and i didn't feel like cooking,I thought of Mexican Food(chicken tamales in particular)for a change....so I asked my Mexican friends where I can get some good Tamales and almost everyone told me to try a restaurant that serves the best Tamales in town.....by their recommendation and close proximity from my Apartment I decided to give it a try...with much excitement and hunger that needs to be satisfied quickly....off I went yeeeehhhaaaa!!!!! Upon entering the restaurant I was greeted by a nice hostess and asked me how many in my party,I told her just me and I just wanna order to go/take out a dozen of Chicken Tamales....It didn't take long(pre-made) and my order was ready....I asked the cashier how much do I owe?$15.00 she responded...I handed her a $20 bill,after thanking and getting my change...the hostess made a comment in Spanish that loosely translate"how cheap!where's my tip?" I can speak and understand Spanish,Self taught if you will...It wasn't that hard to learn the language,being surrounded by latino coworkers for over a year helped a lot and it didn't hurt that our language(Filipino)uses over three thousand Spanish words. I'm getting sidetrack here,anyway going back to our nice hostess,......I just walked away I really didn't know how to react at the moment,but deep inside I was furious,halfway to my car I thought of going back inside the restaurant confront the hostess talk to her in Spanish and ask for the Manager....I decided not to, for it will embarrass her not only to her coworkers but also the customers and it might jeopardize her JOB.....I just let it go... In a situation like that,what's the right thing to do?I still encounter similar instances,I usually just ignore and not letting myself get involve in an argument...What you all think?............and I'm not cheap either having been in a business where tip is expected and contributed greatly on my income I know how it is...does it ever occurred to her(hostess)that tip is not to be expected when customers orders to go/take out......MEXICANA DE MIERDA!!!!!
