Have you ever experienced being a jinx and being jinxed?...Way back in my high school years... I have these group of friends and in that group I have this one particular friend that when we go down in the steps or walk together - I always end up loosing my balance causing me to fall or trip on my foot even until now... Presently at work when I am grouped with any of my fellow trainees the pace of the work is very slow because they always got confused if whether what we are doing is right and I don't have a clue of what's going on.... All these do not happen once, it occurs a lot... So probably I'm a jinx in our workplace and I have been jinxed by my friend. What do you think?...

I wish I didn't believe in being jinxed, but part of me does! I'm always "knocking on wood" to counteract the jinxed effect! I ultimately believe in karma when it comes to big things, so I think if something negative happens to us (Not always-but often) it may be a result of karma. Of course that's not with every situation though, cause embarrassing and bad things happen to wonderful people for no reason at all. I think maybe with the jinxed thing, something ends up happening that you didn't want to happen just cause you think about it happening...If that makes any sense! If you focus your mind around it and worry about it, I think it's more apt to happen! This reminds me of the TV show, "Everybody Hates Chris!" :)

It is like the Law of Attraction in the book "The Secret".... I also strongly believe in Karma both ways that if you do bad things, bad things will happen to you however if you do good things, good things happen to you...

Wow, that's so awesome that you've read that book! It's one of my all time favorites. My cousin introduced me to it. It's such an amazing book and that's such a good analogy...What you put out there, and what you envision, will always come back to you!

I have a friend that calls me a jinx. He says everytime he is around me something breaks down. My answer which is how you should see things. Expert abilities require expert challenges. I told my friend, Sure things break but don't worry. You have me around to help fix them. They are lucky to have you at that work. Fix enough things and guess who they will come to when trouble shows up. You will become too valuable to get rid of.

Well. in my opinion it is just the mindset and it is not some misfortune or jinx. Stop thinking about this stuff and do your work, keep yourself always occupied and that's it.
