The only way to remove a password from a zip file is to open it using the password and then to rezip it without a password.
If you don't know the password there is no way of recovering it except by using a "brute force" attack - that is, by using software which will attempt many thousands of passwords in a short time. Even this may be extremely time consuming, depending on the strength of the password used.
There are shareware programs available which will do this for you. The average price is around $30. Try this page: http://www.topshareware.com/remove-zip-password/downloads/1.htm

Whatever method you use will be either time-consuming or expensive. It depends how valuable the contents of the file are to you. Usually, it's not worth the effort.

if you make your own protected zip file, you can start with collecting any words that might be the password. Then let the zip password recovery software use that list to try every combination of your list.
but if you got the zip file from outsider, then it almost impossible for us to find the password easily. unless you has very sophisticated computer and (not free) programs that can utilize the speed of the sophisticated computer.
