One step closer

The first semester had finally ended and it would only require another semester so that I could eventually graduate in college. I am taking up the degree BS in Nursing. Honestly, I cannot imagine myself graduating with this course since I was afraid of blood in high school. Yet, nursing is far more than the bloody mess and injections. It is rendering selfless service to a lot of people. Being in my fourth year, I am confronted with a lot of pressures not only with my requirements but also with my family. They are expecting a lot from me and I am afraid that I could not meet all their expectations. Likewise, I am afraid that I am not competent enough with my chosen field. I know that there is more to learn in the world of nursing after graduation. The graduation is not the end but actually, it is just the beginning of my career. I believe that everything will just fall into its place. Nevertheless, what matters most is that I am entering the second semester and I am one step closer to my dream.

Congratulations! You are really very close to your dream! I study Medicine and I see how many times the nurses are not appreciated enough for their work, which is so unfair.

Thank you for your support. It is really unfair but I am still happy that I am able to serve them even if they do not give credit to my work. I think Medicine is such a difficult course. Good luck also in your studies.

That first semester is always the hardest. Getting adjusted to college, the coursework, the teachers, and the schedule. I am currently in my third semester which means that next semester I will offically be a Sophmore. I found that my second semester flew by since I was already familiar with everything. Now I am having teachers that I had during my first semester, and I don't feel so nervous since I know what they are looking for. You already got over the biggest hurdle. You can do this!! Nursing is very rewarding and is a great choice.

Congratz in advance Sheerah.. Well, I know that you could make it to the finish line. I am also a graduating student like you. And I also could not believe how I got this so far. One semester away and we will have our diploma already. I am actually at the same course as you are. I do hope for the best on our studies and our journey after we will graduate. Keep your faith on Him Sheerah.. We will surely be blessed by Him because we are so determined on finishing our studies. Not all people have the chance getting this opportunity we have. So, let's be happy and thankful on it. Well, for our near success.. CHEERS!! :)
