i am thinking of the china hit and run video of the toddler, imagine 18 people just walk pass an injured child on the road..so heart wrenching to see and worst she has succumbed to her inuries after a week in hospital,terrible..just 2 years old,rip yue yue,god bless her soul..i think not only in china but may be similar things in other places we may not know off where people just dont care or afraid to get involved thinking it is another persons problem.if it were you would you have reacted differently in that situation

im more of one to help but if i saw that people were already helping i probably would continue and think they probably called the correct people for the situation

Hello bryanwmc,
It depends actually if i am the first person who see the injured person definitely i will help that person and if i see lot of people around that injured person i will just see what happened and i will leave and if i find crowd and no place to go to that person i will not stop to even see that injured person.

Saving a life is very important, and I think its everyone's duty to try and save someone if the person is injured. Its not good to emulate what we saw in China, 18 people passing by instead of helping a child who was run over by two vehicles.. So sad, what if we found ourselves in such trouble?

I run to help very worry about it. I waited untill see if I can do something because I should not touch the person right? so , I will call ambulance or police and I will wait for the person to be taking care off. If she is not that injure , I will ask her if she is ok? and then I will leave. Yes I saw the video in the news about the little girl, so , awful that so many people had the chance to help and they didnt untill the lady came to help, and I was asking to myself : Where were her parents at that moment, that was so irresponsable on their side .

My husband is a over the road trucker and if he got into an accident I would want someone to help him so naturally I would help he stopped time when he saw a trucker truck on fire and pulled him out truckers have to watch out for each other
so yes we are one of the people that would stop to help if we could

Not that very much we find or i had seen an accident person on the road, however i wish i would not see any,if i see then i would definetly call up the ambulence for help and the police for giving information.
I wish if there were group of people then all can put up a hand and help the injured person so that everything goes on time to save the injured.

I definitely would. Calling the paramedics and doing first aid are among the things that a good Samaritan would do. It does not matter what the rules say, helping an injured person and saving a life are the things we need to think about. How would anyone feel if the injured person were himself or a loved one? Following the golden rule should be our first consideration.

This is a hot topic in China, where several traffic accidents ignites fierce debate. As to me, i would call 110 and wait beside the victim. Anyway, it is the most safe way for me.

of course yes! one of 20 Rules of the road being a good driver is ....If there is an accident, stop to help the injured! and always think for a humanitarian reason....help the needy. Do good deeds and ask from God your reward. your life may be blessed more for what you did.
