Can I publish a blog with lots of pictures and few lines of description ?

Few days back we had the great festival called "DURGA PUJA" .I clicked a few pictures on this occasion.And I want to show this exclusive pictures to all my friends around the world.So I need your suggestion about blogspot.Will they allow me to post only picture and a few lines of comments only for my blog?
If I can successfully publish my blog then all of you can see those exclusive pictures of this grate festival.

of course you can do that.. in fact there are a lot of other bloggers who have been doing that for a long time, you may call it a photoblog ^^

Thanks enelym001,So from now onward I can have lots of photoblog.But I want to know will the earning from photobloge be same like other blogs?If you can answer me ??

Thanks informer.Yes I am the owner of the blog as well as those pictures are taken by me too.Hope I can earn a bit from those pictures too.

Of course you can. I post pictures using blogspot, too. If I do not own the picture though, I would cite the source/owner.
You can also try Photobucket.com, Tumblr.com or Multiply.com though, they're quite easier than blogpsot... Since you'd be concentrating more on photos.
You can even use your Facebook account and set the album privacy to friends only or to some specific people.

From what I have seen, the proper avenue for you for this kind of project might be either Tumblr or (if you can figure out how to make it work - I couldn't) a free Wix page. I have a couple of friends who use Wix for their photography portfolios.
One of the benefits of Tumblr is that you get followers and then their followers can follow you and it becomes a huge opportunity for exposure, if that's what you are looking for.
