Assuming that we all have our social lives that we need to work on constantly, how do you establish rapport with other people, upon making new acquaintances?

Hi Rapport, did you mean social lives online or offline or both? If its your online social life that you are talking about, then you must actively engage with them through several possible ways which include commenting on their posts in forum, visiting & commenting on their articles, remembering to send birthday wishes from social media pages etc. For real life socializing, rapport is built through understanding & cultivating common interests, participating in social events and developing active discussions etc.
Hope it made some sense to the topic.

Hi there! Thanks for taking your time to respond on this discussion. What it means here is how you establish a connection when you first meeting someone, i.e finding similarities, or starting a conversation. This could happen in our everyday lives, especially when meeting someone new.
I agree with you though, that we have to be consistent in engaging with people we want to connect to. :)
it's a way of finding similarities too right? Cheers! :))))
