According to a friend who spends two months each summer traveling in a lot of places. I arranged a trip to Istanbul or Konstantinoupoli (the Greek and original name), and was amazed. My friend says, although he has visited a lot of places, it remains the most interesting place. It is the passage between Asia and Europe. That's why it has so much history and culture. I stayed there for 3 days and want more! The food was great everywhere, not only in the city. Excellent flavours. Meat, yoghurt and sweets from fresh milk. I made a promise to myself to go again. I think it is a great place and advise everyone to go at least once. My friend says everytime he goes, he discovers something new. I shall see...
