Do you feel ashamed of your when you get to work lately.

It depends on the work. i am quoting "Swings and roundabouts" I never feel ashamed coming in late

It is good to go to your work before time. Just because we go early on a few days, we cannot go delayedly on a few days. If others look at you do not mind. Say sorry to your immediate boss. While working I never use to go delayedly for work. I also use to enjoy whatever I do just as am enjoying now posting in mylot.

I hate to be late at work, It makes me feel ashamed, and next day I get up earlier, but you know what?, most of the time I get late to work, even thought I don't like, I like to do my job with efficiency and be on time. Right now I am not working because I moved of my country to USA. I never was fired to any job, because I always worked giving the best of me, but this problem was always on me. I want to get a job soon here, and I promise myself to be on time.

Being late at work is one of my weaknesses and i hate myself every time i go to work late. Though i didn't to do it every day but i feel ashame when everybody is already there and here i am, just came in. However, i have already tried to amend my tardiness these days because it's not really helpful at all. :(

I hardly go to company late,beacuse I'm punctual.I used to be late for some times,but I was just sorry my lost,beacuse I would pay the fine for the late.So almost of the employee go to company on time.

well for me it depend on the place and workmate where i work. if we work at place where the jobs not really that busy snd even the boss getting late so many times, i guess we dont need to ashamed so much. if we work at place where there is alot of work to do right from the moment the office start and our workmate and even our boss always getting on time, we will fell so much shame if we late. but ofcourse i'll never intentionally try to getting late no matter where i work at because it not a good thing to do.

hi, when i was in college and late i usually say sorry to my professor but when i am working now i still arrive in my work late,of course i feel guilty to my co-worker because i am late again,but i don't say sorry because everyone here also arrive late sometimes.but now i am trying my best to avoid late.

Hi friend.. I had an experience regarding same in my college time.. I used to go to college late for 10min almost daily. All of my friends used to say me come fast during my starting days of college. But afterward if i come early sometimes they used to be shocked.I will not feel guilty because my lecturers also used to come late to college.

I don't work at the office but I know how you feel. Whenever I go to school classes late, I feel so embarrassed that I'm late. I also hate it when people look at me like I'm irresponsible for being late.

It’s normal that people will stare at you, mainly because you are late for your schedule. Sometimes, being late is quite hard most especially that time is very important in putting a good impression of yourself to your working environment most especially, to your boss. Sometimes, if you go to work late without any valid reasons, then that is totally a not good start in your day. However, if you really have a valid reason on not coming to work early, then they will probably consider it. But regardless, apologizing to your superior and to your workmates does give a good notion that you feel sorry for being not on time and in the long run, they will probably understand.
