My friend who works in Thailand is here for a short vacation. She lives in a different city from me and is about three-hour drive away. She decided to come for a visit and a sleep over last Thursday and boy we had fun.
We bought a bottle of tequila and we haven't even consumed a quarter of the bottle. We were having fun talking about our lives, relationships and our past experiences. We were too busy catching up things in our lives and laughing at each other's funny experiences we hardly noticed the tequila.
The last time i had a sleep over before that was when i was in college. So now i'm planning to visit her in her city this week but with the rest of my family.

The last time I had a sleepover was a couple years ago. My friend from school came over and we talked about stuff that we can't normally talk about at school (just because it would be too easy to be overheard). It was really fun actually. We got a bunch of snacks from the grocery store and hung out for the night. We've had sleepovers a few times and it's really helped us become friends.

Work is out of the question. How is one supposed to enjoy a sleep over if it's for work anyway? lol

I hope you have a good time visiting your friend with your family! I always have sleep overs at my best friend's house. I'm an only child so my house gets boring. She has about seven people in her house though, so I love the fact that there's always someone to talk to no matter what time of day or night it is. I'm twenty-one, and we're still having sleep overs every weekend or so. I don't think you can ever grow out of a girls night in!

If one is single there's no hassle in sleeping over. The problem is when one already has a family, it makes it a little difficult though still possible.

My last time of sleeping over was last 1th,Oct,haha.Beacuse I came back from Inida for one week rest,my roommate of college was at home just that time. She studied in Australia,so it's a little diffcult for us that we were both in China.I asked some classmates who worked in the same city now to go her hometown. We had fun that time, and it felt great to see old frends.

Isn't it nice to be with friends for the whole night and just enjoying and having fun in your own home or theirs?

Please take time to read the discussion again, i think you may have misunderstood the meaning of sleep over. There's no problem here regarding sleep at all.

my friends would come to my house and stay over because if they come to us, and we all go out, rather than them going to the whole way home to the town they live in, which is only a half hours drive [but very expensive in a taxi] they just sleep in the spare room in mine and my partners house and drive home the next day!!
better than drink driving lol!!

Sleeping over is a regular activity for me because of my work. Every month I go to another province to follow some of the youth on how they are doing in their duties and responsibilities I entrusted to them. This regular activity is also my unwinding and relaxation since the place has this cool weather all throughout the year. It's like having spring all year round.
I always look forward to travel and have the sleep over every month because me and my friends usually have a treat of dining out to new a place. It seems that the place is booming that every time I visit there is something new and I never fail to check out on this.
Doing this on a regular basis , makes our friendship stronger because of hte bonding session we had together.

I think the last time was about 1 or 2 years ago. Probably this year again.
Sleep over is not important to me, we are also able to see eachother when we don't live close we just drive a longer way to visit each other.
I also would not let anyone sleep over since I don't have the beds for that and I don't like to share my bed with everyone or sleep on the couch because I have a visitor.
