I would seriously love to learn how to make a digital scrapbook. I know I can research it online but I would love to hear from any of you who are actually making your own digital scrapbooks. Once you have it done, do you print it? Do you save it to CD or DVD? How do you share it with others you want to show it to? I just got to have my first ever real vacation this summer and even though I have my photos on my computer and have shared some on my blog and on Facebook, I would love to make a scrapbook of the vacation. Then if that works out, I would love to try making some with my grandkids as the focus. If you have any tips and suggestions I would love to hear them. Thanks

I've never done digital scrapping either and I've been wondering a lot of the same things! I love scrapping with the physical pictures and materials and all of that. We went digital with our SLR camera and it's hard to remember to get photos printed out, primarily so I can scrap them or put them in frames! I have so much stuff for scrapping and it's been a long time since I've used any of it. Sadly it's on the list of things to be able to do after the office gets clean. It seems like that office of mine is always going to be dirty!

Scrapbooking with the real books and all the papers and other stuff is so expensive a hobby even though the finished product can be so nice. I can't afford to get into the regular scrapbooking so I thought digital might be a better option for me. Maybe we will both learn something here now. :)

Yes Capirani... scrapbooking with real books and paper are very expensive. My daughter & her group latest project is a scrapbook with 50+ pictures and it cost them around $25.00. What they did is they have to put their picture in a scene wherein it will look like they travelled abroad. They edited the pictures into layers so they have a New York background and other nice place. With digital scrapbooking, it is not expensive and is also fun and easier to do. Do it with Photoshop. There are lots of ideas and samples you could find in the internet. Then it would be better to make a slideshow and burn it in dvd format so that it would be fun to watch the pictures. Don't forget to label each pictures like where it was taken, the people you are with or the occassion. Have Fun!

Good idea of doing a slide show. I had not thought about that. I don't have Photoshop but I have Paint Shop Photo ProX3 which is really good. I like that slide show idea. Thanks.
