Both services allow users to send money to recipients securely and without divulging personal account information to the recipient. Having said that, there are some pointed differences between the two services.
I personally, prefer to use PayPal

Hi syasin, I'll go with paypal. Not only paypal can connect with my local bank account, paypal is the most usable around the net (at least in my experience). I don't like alertpay because they haven't verified my account yet although I have finished one of their verifying procedures.

If it is for payment here in mylot is paypall, is very good and pay ontime.
This is what mylot says about paypal.
How do I get Paid?
You will get paid monthly with a minimum account balance of $10. You have the option to increase your minimum payment to $25, $50 or $100. All payments will be in US dollars and made via PayPal, depending on the country you reside in. All users will be required to have a valid PayPal account. myLot is not responsible for any fees incurred in the payment process (i.e. translation fees, taxes, bank fees, credit card fees, PayPal fees, etc.)
While we would love to pay everyone, regulations set forth by the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), an office of the US Treasury, prohibits myLot from sending money to certain countries. The good news is users from all countries will still be able to participate in myLot discussions. The bad news is users from countries included on the OFAC list will not be able to earn money for their contributions.
What is a PayPal account?
A PayPal account enables any individual or business with an email address to securely, easily and quickly send and receive payments online. PayPal's service builds on the existing financial infrastructure of bank accounts and credit cards and utilizes the world's most advanced proprietary fraud prevention systems to create a safe, global, real-time payment solution. Both options(paypal and alertpay) have pros and cons. Paypal is easier and quicker when you get the hang of it, and it also protects better your credit card informations. I am using it since 2001 and I have never had any problems with it!

I like Paypal much more because it is a very honest and good payment method. I don't have any problems to withdraw my money to my bank account. However, as to Alertpay, it gives me lots of troubles. Finally I transferred the money with someone online. This is how I can finally withdraw my money from my Alertpay account. I really dislike its service.
I love China

Dear friend,
As I have Indian account right now for me paypal is better, but there are some sites where paypal is not accepted in that I do prefer alertpay. Still transaction wise now paypal is going well even though we had probelms before.

They are both valid for payment but not all countries accept alertpay so your best bet is to use paypal.

In between Alertpay and Paypal. I prefer to use Paypal.\
Although both of these payment processors are legit, I am more familiar to this Paypal since I have received and sent my payments for many times.
Since the past few months, this Alertpay are still having many unresolved issues to the members in their withdrawals.
I hope this Alertpay will recover to normal to maintain it's good name.

Both are valid but for me I prefer paypal in all my online payment transactions since it is much convenient to use.
