Did you enjoy Donaire's fight against Narvaez?

Good day to all of hardcore boxing fans here in mylot.just yesterday october 23, 2011 donaire won against his argentinian opponent omar narvaez via a unanimous decision.for the benefit of those who were able to watch the fight,narvaez fought in defensive mode,hardly showing signs of eagerness to engage in a brawl against donaire.narvaez was like Joshua clottey when clottey fought pacquiao.clottey then was just like a sandbag waiting for manny to punch. now let me ask you, did you enjoy Donaire's fight against narvaez?

Yes as a Filipino I really enjoy it and i'm really proud about it another boxer who have a good future in boxing. Though I think he still need some improvements in some aspect of his training and work harder like pacquiao do.

manny pacquiao is far way ahead than nonito donaire in terms of skill.i just hope that nonito will remain humble like the living legend pacquiao himself because untamed ego might end up early a boxer's promising career. Boom Boom bautista is a good example.

Working hard, training well and discipline might not be a problem at all for nonito donaire.these values are inherent to every Filipino around the world.Nonito stands 5'7",a stature that is so much effective in the welterweight divisions, and even in the middleweight class too. all nonito needs is to pile up more experience in the ring and the bulk some more weight.

I agree that he's still far from reaching many pacquiao stature but it ain't impossible to reach pacquiao achievements if Nonito will just work harder, get trained well, and be very disciplined just like pacquiao.

Not really, I was eagerly waiting for the match to be exciting... but then Naravez never took risks and just stood there, defending himself. It was not a good fight at all. Bob Arum should have gotten a better fighter.

Yeah, I agree also to you stanley.Bob should have selected a warrior than a defensive-mode fighter. but let us not judge bob's predicaments. he may have been cooking something hot for nonito. narvaez might have been provided as an appetizer before the main dish.What do you think of Yuriorkis Gamboa?

It is nice that Doanire win.But the fight is just like Pacquiao and Clottey had.LAck of action.Narvaez don't fight back that much but at least he survive till the end cause boxing is really a hard and tough sports.

during the first round narvaez fought toe-to-toe against donaire but when narvaez felt the power of donaire,he began running away and never engaged himself to some action. but let us still give Narvaez the benefit of the doubt because at least, he saved his ego by maintaining the reputation of never being knocked out his entire career.
