The identity of Jesus is one source of religious conflicts in the world.Different religious groups may or may not believe in Jesus.I don't want to stir conflicts but want to settle down differences and misunderstandings.I think it's also a good way to ease prejudices and stereotypes.
Most Christians believes that Jesus is the son of virgin Mary, who is born without a father, and thinks of him as the son of God,or one of the three in the holy trinity. He was born in a stable. He started performing miracles when he is about 30 years old.He was never married and have 12 disciples. He was crucified to redeem the world from sins and resurrected on the third day.
For us Muslims,Jesus is not God or the son of God but a prophet of God who is born to virgin Mary.He started performing miracles as an infant. He was born under a date palm tree, and was delivered by Mary alone. He was sent to deliver God's message. We believe that Prophet Jesus was not crucified but was raised up by God in the heavens, and instead a replacement in Jesus image was crucified.
Jews may or may not believe that Jesus is the messiah. Some Jews still believe that Jesus is a false messiah and are still waiting for the right one to come.
Some claims that the lost years in Jesus life is spent in a Buddhist temple.
I had also found an interesting documentary about Jesus childhood, relationships, and other beliefs by Gnostic Christians. You can view the documentary on this link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZd5DyUnkcs.

I got a whole new point of view from a book called, Christ Returns Speaks His Truth. It touches all these different points of view with what to me was common sense. You might want to check this out, you can get it on Amazon. Blessing
