Mirrors, Mirrors, on the Wall, Which One of You is Lying to Me?

I have several mirrors in my home. Incidentally, this really was not planned at all. I have a large round mirror attached to the vanity, which is the only mirror of size I own, the others are built in to the apartment. My bathroom has a large mirror as well as mirror doors on the small cabinet beneath it and there is a huge bull length mirror on the wall of the bedroom. This brings me to my point. All of these mirrors are slightly different, and I have no way to know which one of the two bedroom ones is giving me an accurate picture of my proportions. I can't get a good look at much of myself in the bathroom because for some strange reason the little cabinet strip under the large mirror has magnifying mirrors on the doors. So at first glance one sees a normal head and shoulders and far too large hips. This little phenomenon I discoverd the first morning after I moved in, laughed at the idiot who intalled those stupid doors, and moved on with my day.
The real question is between the vanity mirror and the built in one in the bedroom. One of them is lying to me. In the vanity mirror I seem to look ever so slightly thinner than in the wall mirror. OK, so it's a vanity mirror, it's like vanity sizing perhaps? I had no idea they were into that in 1950-52 when the mirror was built, and there is nothing that says on the back that images appear somewhat different than they actually are. So every day I get dressed and look in both mirrors. Some days I am more inclined to believe one or the other is what other people actually see. It sort of depends on how I feel about myself that day. If I feel particularly fat that morning,I am significantly more likely to think the image that seems slightly larger is the truth, however bad that is for my self esteem. However, some days I am just so desperate to believe I actually look OK that I convince myself that the other must be right, that I do look a bit better. So for now, and perhaps a long time to come, I have two mirrors, and two images. One is the truth and one is a lie, but there is no way to know for sure which one is lying to me.

I was shocked by ur large quantity of mirrors. I don't think having many mirrors at home is a good way to improve ur appearance. On contrary, I think one large mirror is enough, just like one person has many kinds of time to obey because he/she has many watch to wear, u will finally miss something when u r busying on obeying different time. Therefore, one large mirror can make u comfirm urself, I suggest to throw other mirrors and only leave one, maybe ur life would be easier.
