I bought some at the grocery that were already seasoned and I loved them. I tried them today with our own sweet potatoes and they just weren't the same. I love sweet potatoes, no matter how they are fixed! :)

Welcome to the mylot community! I love sweet potato fries! I like to have them seasoned with some brown sugar and cinnamon. I think that is the best way to eat them as that is how I like my baked sweet potatoes as well. I don't think that they would be good with salt and pepper only either.

one liner like this can be deleted cause by railing to follow mylot rules, but i want to welcome you to mylot and hope you love it here. very short post like this is in danger of delete. back to your post here in the Philippines we cook sweet potato fries with sugar. my wife uses brown sugar melt in with the hot oil then fry the sweet potato on that oil with sugar. it taste very good. i dont know how to cook but i've seen a lot of people do this style already.

Thanks for your advice, on both MyLot and the sweet potato fries. I didn't realize that posts had to be longer. I tried a recipe for sweet potato fries today with just salt and pepper and didn't care for it because I'd rather them have more of a sweetness. I think I will try the brown sugar. Thanks again!
