Every body reads at some point in there life. As well every one
has a book that is the best book that they have ever read. So what
is the best book that you have ever read?
The best book that I have ever read is My Ishmael by Daniel Quinn.
The is about a 600 pound telepathic gorilla who is a maiuetic
teacher. He has spent a good portion of his life in a zoo and
then was found by a doctor who kept him until he died and then
his daughter took over and then his daughter died and now he is alone
and has to move from where he is at.
He puts and ad in the news paper looking for a pupil to teach. What
does he teach. He teaches people to listen to the voice of mother
culture.

Hi! For me the best book I have ever read is the bible. The bible may be boring to read at first but it is very helpful in our everyday life.It inspires, advises, disciplines, guides us in any aspects of our life may it be in relationship, marriage, single life, family, business and a lot more. Although I am also a reader of other fiction books and they were really nice still nothing compares tot eh Bible because it feeds our soul and draws us closer to God.

Bible indeed is the best book ever, and is the best selling too. It is written by God himself, for people to get to know him and to use this book for them to understand and live a better life.
I would say that Bible is the best self help book ever! its full of great promises that we know is and will be coming true. :D

The Famished Road by Ben Okri. I can still remember the story in my mind. I learned everything from the book, culture, myth even on how to make a better story. This book will always have a place in my heart.

The best book I ever read was The Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri. It's a collection of short stories and it is amazing. Every single one of them made me fall in love with the book more and more. The best one was When Mr. Pirzada Came to Dine. It's narrated by this girl and Mr. Pirzada is one of her parents' friends and he comes over for dinner all the time because his family is still in India (I think). Then after a while he goes back to India and she never sees him again. And every day he would give her a little candy and at the end when he leaves, she never eats them.
Anyway it's an amazing story and an amazing book. I love how she writes.

I really like reading short stories. I will look for the book
in my local book stores. I have never heard of the author of
the book that you mentioned. I will have to go in and do some
research on here and see if she has any other books out there
besides Interpreter of Maladies. I am pretty sure she does so
I look forward to reading the books she has written.

I have read so many books that I find it impossible to say which one I like best. It seems that for me it depends on the state of mind I´m in. But I have reread many times "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck, I read nonstop "100 years of solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez and have many favorite short story writters.

My favourite book is The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. It's the story of a troubled writer and his lover, of his book about Pontius Pilate, and of the devil and his companions (including a giant black cat) visiting Soviet Moscow. It's brilliant: funny, touching, clever, everything I look for in a novel.

I like From The Corner Of His Eye by Dean Koontz it is a great story and kept me intrigued the entire time. I definitely recommend reading it yourself if you are into mystery/suspense.
