You need a budget book

Has anyone read this book or tried out the software? I really need to get on the budget bandwagon but still am having trouble with unexpected expenses like medical bills. I already do have medical expenses budgeted but then my husband needed $4,000 worth of dental work done so that really shot that all to heck. I wish that I had more money to budget with. I so want to get out of debt and am hoping that this book will help me budget better. Thanks.
