Smart Bro Has a Slow Internet Connection!!!

I use Pldtmydsl, I know it's not the best or even fast compared to world standards but I guess it's one of the best in our country since we have very limited options. It's faster but like some other ISP speed depends on how much you are willing to pay, I'm not a tech guy but my friend told me that it is more stable cause it's lined and some plans comes with a pldt landline as compared to wireless connections. I thought Smart is already PLDT?

Yeah me too my internet connection is really slow and I can't open other sites besides mylot. I've tried logging in in my yahoo mail account for more than 10 times but always shows problem with internet connection. I'm really upsdet about these because I need to check my mail now.

I am using smartbro (canopy) for 4 yrs now and last week I am having trouble with the connection. Now, after the technician check up connection and satellite it is working fine again. I tried Globe, wi-tribe but still Smartbro is working best for me. maybe it depends upon your location and your pc or laptop sometimes.

we have smartbro at home. not the usb thing but the wireless thing with all the wires. the connection is ok. not so fast and not so slow. or i guess i just gotten used to the connection.

Oh that's a bad news for me, well I'm planning to switch from Globe WiMax to Smart Broadband or WiMax. Globe WiMax has really a bad service, imagine this, I cannot browse triond, myLot, my Business site, and many more. And this for the benefits for those doesn't know about their tricks, don't you know that their money back guarantee was ended last June 2011? But, their website haven't yet updated. How about the locked-in period or early termination scheme? There's a lot of secret behind Globe WiMax and they're giving me a big headache. For me, PLDT DSL is still the beast, but sadly our area is not serviceable.

I really hate Smart Bro. It is the slowest connection I had encountered. I found Globe tattoo so fast! I love Globe tattoo!

I havent tried smart bro.. but i think i have heard a lot of complains about them since i have friends who use the service and they always get disconnected if they cannot connect at all.

I don't know what the best internet service provider in the philippines, all of these providers are sucks... Smartbro really not a good ISP to subscribes because of it's slow and unreliable services. Those customer services has no knowledge about technical aspect of networking, cabling and many other troubles. There answer is not suitable in what we asking for... Really disappointed when you call the customer service. They don't know what are they talking about...

Is that the USB one? If that is all I can say is you have to subscribe to a broadband. Cos I have tried both Globe and Smart USB internet and I was never satisifed, most of the time it just eats up the load. My current ISP is Globe but I recently encountered having a connection problem for some reasons they could not even tell - 5 days without a connection. I tried soliciting some advise here like what you're doing now, and I end up getting confuse becoz from the comments I got, I realized there isn't any good Internet service in the country. It just depends usually on your location, whether they signal is good or not in your area. Try asking your neighbors which ISP they were subscribed and then you decide ^^
