I have read some people saying that calamansi whitens the skin. But I say no it can't. Rather, rubbing calamansi on your skin makes it more smoother and gives radiance. I have to say it coz my mom used to rub calamansi on my skin when I was younger. My mom is that type of mom, she's fond of trying beauty products and natural skin care tips that we can just do at home.
Those times I was using it my skin's really white and smooth. I became so lazy for some years, and just thought of doing it again once in a while whenever I don't feel so lazy^^ I don't use whitening soaps now, and I guess calamansi is enough to make your skin look better than using whitening soap. Yes it won't whiten your skin but having a smooth and radiant skin for me is almost the same as having a white skin.

Calamansi from the kitchen is useful in the body inside and out. I do use calamansi too for my knees, elbows, and armpit. It serves as a toner for me. Calamansi is helpful inside the body too, I make calamansi juice everyday. It helps in cleansing toxins, it reduces cholesterol levels, serves as laxative too, generally it cleanses the whole body system. It's good to have insights of our own calamansi, I am proud that we have it here in our country.

Yes I am happy that we can grow calamansi from our backyard, although we don't have one coz we have limited space When I was working in another country, there are only few shops selling these and it's sooo expensive, lemon is cheaper there (but expensive here) and I don't know if lemon has the same effects... well maybe, because some beauty products uses lemon extract
So, is this really good for the armpits too? I normally rub on my arms, legs, knees and elbows too but not in the armpit, i might start trying one day

well then I would, hope not to be lazy to do it whenever there's calamansi in the fridge ^^ the drying part is one I was lazy about coz it takes few minutes before it dries up ^^

I also leave it on my skin for a few minutes after rubbing it, at least when it got a little dry then I'd go take my shower ^^ It is indeed effective, I am just so lazy sometimes coz it sure takes time, coz I first clean my skin with baby oil just to remove some dirt on it before I apply calamansi what girls do

Yes,it's really useful.
I use lime (calamansi) to cleanse my face instead of using chemical products as cleanser.
It is safer and more effective as well.
It won't give you any allergies too.
So,better use natural and herbal tips when it comes to skin.
