Last Saturday , Jessica Soho’s show showed food bazaars being held in Manila. It shows stalls at least 50 in numbers , selling different types of foods at affordable prices. There was this Fried chicken with choice of sauce – sweet or spicy , complete with rice at only 85.00. Then, there’s this homemade ice cream , one flavor of which stood out among the res - caramel candied bacon at 75 per scoop (upps rather costly) .Then there’s this food truck selling borritos, nachos and tacos, like you were in Mexico. Then there’s another place of food bazaar, selling pizzas, pastas, crabs, flavored sushis at affordable prices. The catch is ; they are affordable. It only shows that foods are what Filipinos like best, as long as the price is right. Oh how I wish we also have that here in our province.

I bet you are really a gourmet. You don't get me wrong.I mean that I admire you for your enjoying life and keeping fit.I have never tasted most of what you enumerated full of an exoticism, but the crabs is just our seasonal food.Over here,It is well known that the crabs are fat, when the chrysanthemum is in full bloom. The crab I refer to is the type of living in fresh water such as lake and river, the male's abdomen is in the shape of narrow triangular, and the female's broad and rounded.

Oh i accept that i am a gorumet. I love foods indeed. But, when i pig out, i see to it that i only eat very little rice or no rice at all. Yes, i like crabs too. Specially is it is cooked in a sauce of the sweet spicy garlic sauce. Yummy! So you also know how to choose a female crab from the male crab. Usually, we choose the female crab because of the "aligue" (fat). But i make sure that i take a simvastatin, if ever i have eaten some.

I guess swimming crabs abound over there. The crabs are cold in nature according to Traditional Chinese Medicine,so the ginger cann't be dispensed with when we eat them.

Oh i envy you because you are within Manila. It's said to be in Ortigas, perhaps in the commercial area. And i think it's done during the night, after office hours.

That's right. Like me, I am very fond of eating and i am willing to spend money for food. It is our basic necessity so it will really sell. I am glad that there are bazaars that showcase these products. I like to join those bazaars. Unluckily, I am from the province and our place does not hold events like these,. :(

We at the province can will just be contented of those ambulant vendors selling finger foods. But it really would be nice if it's not only finger foods. It will really be a hit also in the province, specially for those office workers who will drop by before finally going home at night. As of now, we do always drop by those finger foods' vendors by the area near where we get our jeepneys in going home.

I think jessica should stop to showcase this food trip of hers. It's not healthy for her.

Ybong, i think foods is her top passion. It shows in her body. And besides, it's one topic Filipinos would like to know of. They flock to wherever the food bazars are.

One of the respondents said there's one at Emerald Avenue, Ortigas every Friday night. I just hope it will go on forever, so if i have the chance to go to Manila, we will surely go there.

you know Every Friday night, Emerald Avenue in Ortigas, they closes the street to make room for a Food Bazaar. From street BBQ, chickens, sandwiches, street foods and great desserts, you know Filipinos are very good in terms of eating we ate lots of rice that's bad, but its in the blood of a Filipino, and Filipinos are happy when the food or things are sale, "TIPID SULIT" ika nga. :)

So maybe, that's what was one of the mentioned food bazaars in Jessica Soho's show. I envy that place because i want to go to one also. I am a foodie and i am sure my husband will like it too, if there's one like that here in our province. So, it's only every Friday night? Have you tried it already? I think, it becomes a drinking joint too on that night?
