I wonder why there are always poor people all over the world. I mean, even in rich countries, poor people exist. Is the government to be blamed or it's these people's fault for not looking for a living? I wish all people have equal riches, and there will be no rich or poor. I want everyone to help each other out so we all can enjoy life. But I guess this will never happen. And it seems that the poor gets poorer and the rich gets richer. Why so?

Hello Reco,
Gap between poor and rich is increasing day by day the reason being in today's scenerio every thing can be bought by money and those people who have money buy it and the poors gets deprived of it.
Consider in INDIA where the bacis thing education cost is too much that those who don't have enough money cannot afford their kids to send them to a good school/college and there comes the major difference as we know education is the basic criteria to have money in anyone's life.
I don't think this gap can be filled up till the government take some really big efforts may be big aid to poor people narrow this gap but cannot nullify this gap.

So brother, do you think that it is totally the government's fault??? I know many people who don't even go to school but they get success in their life. They know the education is important but they also know when you can't get it in normal way then you need to find the alternatives. I did not say that knowledge is unimportant but there are many ways for them to gain the knowledge apart gaining from school~(^^)

So the main thing is all those people need to find ways on how to change their lives we could make the number increased right? There are people like you mentioned above who get rich because they worked so hard and there are also some of them who are so smart. Surprised but they are really awesome!!(^^)

It will be good if everyone has equal wealth, but I think it will be somehow impossible because there is really no equality in nature.
I know as time passes by,the poverty will continue to be more widespread. As long as the population continues to expand more will be hungry.Let us assume there is a pizza. The more the members of the family there are,the lesser amount me pizza each member will recieve.Every year the population increases so people consume more.A time will come that we will no more have anything to consume. As years go by more and more will starve.I think that's what God wants to happen. That is the fate of the world.:)

Then it is good to learn 'how to'. Like the pizza, if we know how to make it by our own we could served all the family members equally or more than what they should get. The concept is not just 'giving' and 'receiving' but we also need to 'learning'. If it just involves receiving and giving I am sure the source of living will reach the bottom line.(^^)

It won't ever be. Now I think that there will be times where people in poverty might be slightly less. However, it just doesn't strike it as sound that there are going to be times where people are going to really be completely relieved of poverty. There is a certain balance that needs to be maintained for the sake of society. Granted, it does seem that these days, there are going to be a lot more people who are dipping below the poverty line than ever before.
We are in a time where people are going to really be desperate for any number of reasons. It does make me shake my head back and forth from time to time at the state of the world. But it is just something that we're going to have to unfortunately live with. I do think that the poor going further in the hole and the rich getting richer is not a great thing. However, there will always been people in poverty. There just seem to be too many people right now.

Poverty problem will not be solved till end of life because the politics gain lots of money and stored it in their house and poor people not get the money for eating the foods. Why the human beings do this one is poor and other is rich.

Hmmm...
On my opinion it depend on how the poor people and the government manage their situations and lives..In our part, the officials here are corrupt they even used the collected founds just for their personal needs and wants.Poor people shouldn't blame the government because of their situations but the government is responsible to help for those poor who wants to work and study and they are also responsible for using the founds for programs for living. Its their fault too actually, first they have lots of siblings and they can't send them to school to study why?because the money they earned is just enough for the food that will they eat on the whole day.Second, not all poor people are poor, those people have properties on their provinces but if the government buy or forcely take it to them, what will happen? They lose their living in exchange of small money as consideration?,some of them thinks that living in province is miserable so what should they do they will travel from their province to city, here in the city is hard to live if you dont have work you wont eat, that's why many poor people exist in the city and lastly most of the poor people are depending on the government that's why they keep on blaming the government why their situations like that.I cant really blame them though because they also see what are the wrong doing of the government.

Poverty is difficult to compare between countries. People living in poverty in the US would compare to people in the middle class of many other industrialize nations. People in poverty in most of the industrialized countries would be middle class or wealthy class third world countries.
I heard a person talk about the missionary work done in some countries is what is leading to famine now. The missionaries went in and saved lives, extended the life expectancy and increased the population, but they did nothing to increase the economy or to teach the people to get more out of farming. That was a good example of sharing the wealth without the people have the ability to use the wealth.

I don't there is end on poverty, poor has a large population than rich people. The government and the people itself if they want can lessen poverty but not totally diminished.

Hi Reco!
I don't know why but I guess the things you said above will happen someday when no one is poor and everyone have their own wealth and you can't find any of them who are desperate for money. There will be days when you can't find people who are in poverty and needed help from others. Even if it seems utopia but nothing impossible.Yes, you said that poor people gets poorer and rich gets richer but among those rich people there are lots of them who help others and I am sure one day the poor people will get better. I think we need to change the concept of giving help for poor people. We should give and teach them ways on how they could survive which will last in long term rather than just simply give them money.(^^)

I can't say that poverty can be resolved in general. However, people can improve their financial status if they are given the right opportunities and are hard workers themselves.I can notice that the quality of life are greatly improve in some Filipinos because of education compared to the previous years when there are only few college graduates.Good education can give you better job opportunities. The problem that we are facing now is the lack of job opportunities. So the government should also act upon it.

I don't think the poor people are getting poorer. Poor is poor. They just look poorer (and there are getting more and more poor people) because our way of living is changing. We find it normal to have our own home, to have a tv set, each member of the family it's own cell phone etc etc.
And no poverty will never end. It was always there and it will always be.

That is what I also wished for... that people have equal wealth. It's really hard to be poor, no money to buy foods, clothes. We aren't rich too and I feel how hard it is, what more the people who don't even have shelter. Both are to blamed. We can't put all the blame to the government, they sometimes try to reach out to the people in need but sometimes we also don't do something to get up and succeed. Government however should do whatever they can to put the jobless and poor people into real jobs.

yes your so true, poverty will not be resolved until the world ends im very sure. i think i will blame the government because my country(philippines) are have many corrupt people in start with low officials, policemen, congressman, and up to the high position in government, even in government agencies have corrupt people they do what it take to have money. they get money from us, we pay taxes then they used it to implement laws and to construct highways but the constructions is substandard because they cut the budget .
Example: they build a highway that cost 1 billion, the government official will request to have the 1 billion budget and then if they get the budget they cut it to 3/4 so they will only used 250 million and the 750 million will go on the pocket of the government official. that is so bad, the government official is EVIL. that is the doing of many government official here in the philippines. so the poor people became poorer and the rich specially government official will became more richer because of being corrupt and powerful that is the sad thing here in Philippines and in other countries around the world.
