Never get me hungry, that's a big mistake

Yes i am mad as hell and i have nobody to tell this except mylot. My husband knew that nothing could really piss me off except a hungry stomach and no food on the table.
I work my butt off everyday, got a maid to do all the cooking so i could eat without being disturbed from my work. I have a class from 5pm straight until 11pm and got a 10 minute break for every 50 minute class.
Now luckily two of my students were absent from 5pm till 7 and that gives me the time to eat dinner at 6:30; supposedly. To my surprise, there's no food on the table!!! Why? My mother-in-law and brother-in-law took our made to carry all the things they bought and came home at 6:30! Now it would have been nice if they have brought food home but they didn't and she still has to cook! And i'm starving as hell and couldn't eat a thing because i'm stuck in my class. There's no food at all.
I'm blaming my husband again because he could have send them a message to send the maid home early so she could prepare food for me. But he didn't! I thought all the while that they have come home already.

Hi toni!
It is really sad that you are feeling hungry and no food is available.
You are very right that your husband should have made alternate arrangements, if your maid was not available to cook.
You could have some snacks, by the time you are served your dinner.
I wish, I could have send you some home cooked food from here.
Have patience, whenever you are served dinner, you will enjoy it more because you are/were very hungry.

I'm curious. You teach in your own house? I know its out of topic. But I'm wondering what do you teach? And why not eat before you go to the class? Lets say take a heavy merienda at 4pm and just have a light snack after 11pm.
About the whole accident. I'm sorry but sometimes things just don't happen as we expected it. Maybe they really want to go home early but from one reason to another they come home late.

You better not allow your made to go with them. It's not them who pays your helper. It's you and your husband. Anyway, you should learn how to cook or store ready to cook foods at home if in case a situation like this reoccur.

Now, instead of complaining, you could have made something yourself in that time frame. I would have to say that you're lucky to even have a maid. When I'm hungry I have to make something for myself. I understand the part of being extremely hungry, I have been there before and I know what it's like to not have dinner on the table after a day of work. But, back then, my wife worked and she always made dinner, except when she worked late. After all, she was not a maid. I wish we had one back then, that would have made our life much easier. Again, you are extremely lucky.

Well I don’t have the luxury of having a maid to cook me meals lol so I have to cook them myself all the time.. but I don’t like to be hungry either, so I can see where you are coming from lol!
However, I do have one question. You said that when you went to make something for yourself, in your maids absence, that there was no food in the house, which brings me to my question. Had your maid of been home, what would she have used to cook you dinner with?
:) x

Start your day with a good breakfast. Knowing that you have a very demanding job and an anytime-temper-raising-tummy, always consider breaks and have snacks. Its nice to know that you work hard. But alongside of being type-A, you are prone to gastric ulcers which gives your tummy aches if you cant eat. Scheduling meals and adhering to it would be the best solution. Take care!
