What is the problem with the hotmail?

I don't know a lot about computer because of this I would like that somebody who knows give a clue about what going on with my hotmail. I have being having this problem for like a month now, each time that I open my hotmail using google browser and enter to my account,I just can see my inbox emails but it doesn't allows me to open it. But when I open the internet explorer and enter to my hotmail using using this browser I don't have any problem with opening my emails to read them. Could somebody give light about this, do you think it is because I am in some pay per click,sites and they hacked my email? Well appreciate your comments thanks.
