Have you ever had a friend who always pleases you upfront. There are friends who are like that who always plays safe. If two of their friends have misunderstandings, even if the other one commits the obvious mistake, that friends would still console both and pretend that they truly care. I believe that in friendship, its not always being nice. Because being nice all the time doesn't help. We have to be true of what we really what to say. If you want to say that her dress sucks then say it. Because that's friendship is all about- Being true. And if your genuine, you will last for a life time. Like diamonds, it glows with time. Friendship should be a diamond!

Telling others the truth even if it hurts is like children playing naked in a sandbox. Life is a joy with friends but if you see a worm in the sand and slap it too hard with your plastic shovel, the little boy who makes sand castles might not see this as helping.

If we make jokes, our friend has to understand that and take that as a simple fun issue. but some are not understanding the fun between friends.

You are right, ddomz. Friends should tell the truth about each other to one another. There should not be any lies between friends. True friendship is about telling what one feels even though it sucks sometimes.
The truth may hurt but a lie can destroy.
