This movie was such a huge disappointment.
I knew there was a reason it took me so long to watch it.
I normally enjoy movies with Ryan Reynolds in it but this one was by far the worse one Ive ever seen him in.

try imagine getting ur self stuck in a coffin..after imagining that..then watch this movie again...
this is sucha good movie..with plenty of good reviews from people who knows what movie is all about. sorry u didnt liek it..probably u r looking forward for some action movie? or horror?? No..this movie is about a guy Buried" in a coffin and have several hours to be rescued..of course u already know that..but anyway.. what ever u like..if u think its a bad movie..whatever..
for me..i like this.. its a brilliant movie.. well written..its not easy to write a story for almost 2 hours about a guy stucked in a box..and the writer pull it off greatly.. this movie won too several highly acclaimed awards abroad,,like Canadian films, and France Festivals of film.

Winning awards dont really matter to me but of course it would win an award for best original screenplay. It was original.
I know what the movie is about and no I wasnt expecting action or horror.
All together it was still a boring movie, award or no award.
It couldve been alot better, even the ending..... oh well.

I haven't seen that movie yet, i was going to see it specifically because it had Ryan Reynolds in it and i love him as an actor, but the whole movie looked pretty lame. Like, it was a good idea on paper, but it seemed like it would be really boring.

It was really boring. Watching someone talk on a phone the whole movie is not really my idea of a good time lol.

I thought Buried is such a brilliant movie. Imagine being able to tell a story without having to include anybody else in the scene.
I mean from all the tele-conversation that Ryan Reynolds' character had, we know he's married and has children and that he probably might have had an affair with a co-worker even though he denied it.
And we also know that he's being held hostage for a ransom that was reduced to a million US dollars from nine million US dollar.
We also know that he's buried somewhere in the desert in Iraq and that he's a truck driver.
We also know that he's suffering from panic attacks.
We also discovered that the company he's working for is more concerned about the financial repercussions of his employment than wanting to rescue him.
A lot can be learned from his telephone conversation. This, I think, was very brilliantly done. However, the ending was pretty much predictable because I've seen such an ending on another television show so it wasn't quite as satisfactory. But Ryan Reynolds was great in the movie and he was able to garner my sympathy for his character.
