They say if you love something let it go or set it free or whatever it is how the saying goes? I can't remember. But who are they? Ever wondered that? Like when someone says they say? Who are they? Where did it come from? Well is it true about the love thing?

Are you thinking of the quote, "If you love something set it free. If it comes back to you it's yours, if it doesn't then it never was."? I think things like this are just quotes from authors and different people. Some of them are known while some of them are anonymous.

Hmm, I guess it depends. If you're breaking up with someone for no reason, then they'd most likely come back to you if they really love you. It sounds like a nice quote, but I don't fully believe it. When someone loves you and tells you this all the time, why would you have to let them go and see if they'd come back? To me, this quote is too unrealistic. Not many people are just going to give someone up to see if they're truly theirs or not. Most people can just tell and feel that someone loves them. Maybe the quote is just to give someone hope and sound nice.

I don't think it's that easy to do what this quote tells you to do. When you love someone, it hurts like hell to let him/her go, I don't think there's a way to wake up one morning and tell yourself "hey, I'll just break-up with him/her and that's that", no buts or ifs... i went through a relationship when i kept letting him go and he kept coming back to me but that was NOT the way it should be. So maybe sometimes what comes back it's really what's good for us...

And I also think that if you haven't experienced some pain in a relationship, you don't really know what love is. Love comes with A LOT of feelings by its side and I think some of them, even if they are a bit negative, they help make the love even more precious!

hehe that is funny.. =)
i mean you asking who are they. but that sure is a valid question right? asking who said what especially if the person who supposedly said something is only referred to as "they" :P
But, for me, i think that the "they" that most are referring to is... or are the older people who have been heard to say such quotes, but whatever they said retained and their names did not endured the time. hihih somehow forgotten or has remained anonymous...? =)
about the sayings, though i believe that if you love someone and that person loved you back, why let them go. i would say that work it out and if it does not work out for the both of you then it is not meant to be and there are no regrets.

Hi ja hernandez rivas: I think this sentence means that, if you love someone you need to know when it's time to say good bye to this person when he/ she needs so to grow up. At the same time, when a relationship comes to an end you can force someone to feel the same feeling for you if he/ she is not really into us so in this case if you love him/ her you have to let this person go.

Well for me, it is called sacrifice. If you love someone and they what to be set free let them be. But you also need to be fighting for your love. There should be balance. Letting them free doesn't mean that you should also let your feelings go. Until a person is already committed, then you still have the right to fight for you love.

The saying for me symbolizes life really and not just the one we love. I believe that if we stop trying to control life and the events in it all will fall into place as it should because the Universe only wants what’s best for us . It is my belief that yes, if you love someone or something let it go and if the person or thing comes back to you it was meant to be...You see, it is all for our divine good...

I think it's true cause real love is selfless. For example you really want that girl to remain yours and really loves her but for her the relationship reached the end so you let go and even wish her to be happy as you love her so much. To go chase after, stalk her would be a sign not of love but hurten ego.

I think it's true for the most part that if you set something free and it's meant to be, it will come back to you. Unless it was a situation where you were in a relationship, you broke up with the person, and then waited for them...Obviously they aren't going to come back to you if you left them. So I guess the quote isn't always true! I often wonder who creates all of these quotes myself.

I've been wonder who they are for years. You're reading something and then the word they appears. Now I have to admit I rarely stop and try to figure that out. But it would make sense to find out who they really are. You know we could go on for hours and still never figure out who they are. It's just not right. Best Wishes!
