facebook for getting information

haha.. not really. i just write some stupid word at facebook. only few serious hink i write, and that was so rare.

I am not active in facebook. Actually I only keep my account there to communicate and connect with my friends and relatives. I check their updates and their situation and it one of the easy to know their activities. Facebook is one of the best way to connect with our loved ones.

I don’t update my Facebook profile at all really because I rarely log in but many of my friends and family do and I confess that is how I have kept up with their news and obtained up to date photos etc. It is a great tool for people to keep in touch for sure although I am not as addicted to Facebook as I am to My Lot!

i use facebook as a means of connection, i would rather send private message a relatives rather post my information in public.

Some crimes have been solved to identify some suspects here in the Philippines and yes it helps to get some information. But I restrict my information it was not publicly post on my profile

I always wonder and feel for those who post from their family to everything else they own in the facebook. I wish people could realize that a public website is not a safe place to post personal information.

I do get a lot of information about my family and friends from facebook. I do agree that this site is now the only source of information for me about what is going on in their lives. There seems to be no other social network site now to match facebook.

Facebook can be a good way to reconnect with people but I think one must be careful regarding the information one posts there. It is an open forum and it allows the whole world to see what you've posted. For example, I've heard of school teachers who have gotten into trouble over opinions or photo they posted.

Yes. Facebook is a tool often used by my family, to exchange information. My family, very often, use facebook. And we are very helpful.

Hi adhyz: Now that I have left my collegue, facebook has been a good help to keep a contact with people I know that are far away or they are doing their own projects so we can see each others very often. Social networks really help people who normally could not see each other to keep in contact. However it will never replace offline contact. ALVARO

Yes, i have a facebook account but i rarely update my status on there unless there's something important or i need to reach out to certain group of friends. It's convenient and cost saving to contact them via facebook than phone. Other than that, i'm not one to share daily updates of my life but if there's something bothering me, i will rant it in facebook, share with my friends. My family is not included in my facebook as i'm not used to having them around in my privacy.

Facebook is a great way to organize events. Years before Facebook, a simple get-together with my friends gave us an extremely difficult time just to organize the event. We have to text one another during the planning phase and inform one another again for the final plans. With Facebook, we are able to save so much time and effort. It's also easier for the people to communicate with one another, and others could see the entire conversation. There are of course some downsides of Facebook. Many people reveal too much information about themselves, posing a risk to their privacy. Many nosy friends/enemies could use that information to their advantage.

facebook is a wonderful social network,it has really helped me a lot that if i begin to write about it,people might sleep off while reading but in few sentences,facebook has really helped in the aspect of locating old friends and loved ones,and it has also helped me in interracting with different calibre of people that is the way to interract with them,how to interract with and when to interract with them and also facebook has helped me in getting vital informations at the point of need and also it has helped me in keeping me updated in entertainment field.
