As a woman, for me that is because I think that it will also add up to beauty points. Polishing our nails is about expressing ourselves. You know, because we put colours that we like that also stand to what we are. And of course, as today we notice that most of the guys give a stare to woman's nails to guess what type of woman he is looking or staring at. So, nail polishing is another thing of a woman to be notice by any one, that's why we polish our nails.

You could still look beautiful and alluring even if you do not put some nail polish in your nails. There are a lot of things a woman can make a man notice her.I like a woman with natural beauty. You just take a bath every day and you can say hello to the world.

Like what you wrote here, because it is a trend.
I don't polish my nail a lot.
I only have it cleaned and cut short and it's fine with me.
I like long nails with arts but yes, the harm it can cause it there.
Well...it's an individual choice and I know they are aware of the negative results of it.
have a good day

That sounds good because you did not harm your skin and nails.Just do not overdo your nail polish as what others are doing it,every other days or weekly and you could not polish your nails because they are gone.

I only polish my nails in my toes, but not my nails on my fingers. And i would polish them every 3 weeks.
I know that those polishing things can harm our nails, but then, i have to polish my toenails because at least, they look cleaner and presentable that way, specially when i wear my open toed high heels at work.

I could not blame you for doing it yet the best thing to do is just cleaning it so that you could still see your nails in your feet in the future.

Good post berting600. That is the reason why I never polish nor paint my nails. I want them to be healthy. Also, painted nails may look nice and feminine, but it doesn't mean the nails are clean. I can't imagine doing all the house chores - especially cooking - with those nails. I always keep my nails short and clean. Allowing nails to grow long would only allow more dirt to accumulate in the nails.

You are right there my friend. The longer the nails the more dirt it can accummulate inside it.Women likes it long and clean yet they are fun of enhancing their beauty that is why they have to polish their nails and powder their face and add some fragrance to make her man want her more.

When I was in high school for years every morning before school I would remove the nail polish from the day before and paint my nails the color of my outfit that I was wearing. Can you even imagine how bad that was for my body not just absorbing all those chemicals through my skin but to breath those fumes every day. I never paint my finger nails anymore. Once in a great while I paint my toe nails. Usually in the summer time.

My sister and my aunt usually exchange their nail polish in every two days intervals. They have notice that they have some pale spots in their nails,so they see a doctor to have a check-up.They were surprise to know that the sign of nail rapture
was diagnose, and the only solution was to stop using those nail polish, and just take the necessary medication to make the nails look the same again.I wish you a good day!

I don't take the skin away, that's right, it's a trick and I'm so grateful I was told this when I was 15, I never took it once you just have to press and hide it before putting the polisher. It never grows and so many years later I still do it, there's NO NEED to cut the skin girls :D
Happy MyLotting & a Good Day!

Wow! I just finished polishing my nails, then I read this. LOL
Anyways, I seldom color my nails because if I do it leaves a brownish color in my nails. I guess that's the chemical then. Good thing I am really not obsessed with nail polishes, though I like to do it sometimes.

High quality nail polish still have the bad chemicals that can harm the nails and skin.It is safer to use these products, yet constant usage of it can still damage your health because the chemical reaction is absurb by our body in small amount. The effects of it is gradual throught the years till you discover it.You just feel sorry for your own doing by using this toxic chemicals that just hide in the image of beauty secrets.
