Recently, I lost my appetite for my morning breakfast, somehow I worry about my health about eating. It is not that I don't like the food I consume daily, it is maybe I get bored eating the same thing everyday. Usually, my breakfast will be instant noodle for the convenience, nor something I bought from the supermarket, or bakery stores, like bread, and sandwich etc..... One day morning, I ate half of the sandwich, and I felt like, I can't finish it anymore, and I simply threw away to the trash can. On the next day, I rather have 2 bananas, and a glass of milk for my breakfast that will be enough for me. For now, I just wait until I am hungry, then I would eat more, otherwise, I simply rather have some fruit for my breakfast I would satisfied. Is that some sort of sickness?

its not sickness, try this, exercise before you eat-brisk walking or jogging or house chores so that you will be hungry by breakfast time that you wont find food boring. also try rice flour recipes or rice flakes for breakfast- they are interesting to make and healthy too like iddly, dosa which is like pancake, poori out of wheat flour, recipes can be found in net. all he best

So that's why I have to be out of bed a couple hours before I can eat breakfast. I get up early so I can do some chores around the house and I like to take my time getting ready for work. I am usually up for at least two hours before I can eat. I don't have an appitite right after I get up and I have to do some things before I get hungry enough to eat something.
I don't like eating breakfast so I usually just have a piece of toast with peanut butter on it and a glass of milk and my vitamins. I have to eat something before I can take my calcium or it doesn't get absorbed in the body. A person has to eat breakfast to sustain the morning and if they don't they will eat a bigger lunch than they should and then they get tired and have trouble working the rest of the day. I also make sure I drink a lot of water in the morning as that seems to help me with samina, along with my breakfast.
Cheers and Happy Mylotting my friend,
Chris

I think it would be better to have fruit for breakfast than the other stuff simply because it is more natural. I don't think it is a sickness; it is just your body telling you it wants more healthy foods put into it. If you don't want fruit itself, perhaps you can get a juicer and grind the fruit up and possibly eat the pulp as well as the juice. I started doing that recently and I really do feel much better. Have a great week!!!

Don't feel bad, that is definitely not any type of sickness. Personally I don't eat anything in the early morning hours. My morning ritual consists of a cup of cafe con leche (cuban brewed coffee with milk) and then in mid-morning (10-10:30AM) I'll have a light snack kind of like fruit or yogurt. I normally can't have a heavy breakfast since it would tend to give me an upset stomach and literally mess up my entire morning.

There you have it. You just said it. Instant noodles are not good for the body, Continuous consumption would lead to something else. It may taste good and convenient, but it is not going to be delicious anymore when it strikes back. Just a friendly advise.

I don't think so. I know many persons that can eat almost anything on the breakfast. I have to wake up very early on the week days and I can eat much at 7:00 AM, also I don't have much time to eat my breakfast. For years, everyday in the morning I drink 1 cup of yogurt. Don't make me feel full, but at least I eat something healthy. I never got tired of drinking yogurt everyday, so, maybe you should try to eat something lighter like yougurt or a glass of juice. Just to don't let your stomach empty.

i sympathise with this problem as a lot of the things that we are supposed to eat for breakfast i don't like much. i don't like milk so i don't eat cereals, i don't like porridge, and i don't much like scrambled eggs or toast, when i was a child none of the options available for breakfast were at all appealing.
so when i was an adult, and could make my own choices about these things, i started eating a yoghurt for breakfast, and i've done it for years, with a nice cup of coffee, and it works just fine for me. and sometimes i have fruit as well, or other ties cheese and biscuits.
breakfast is a strange meal, as its quite limited in what is seen as acceptable to eat for it, so i wouldn't worry, eat whatever you want to eat.

A pleasant day Kingparker,
As they say, breakfast is the most important meal for the day. As this will help you to built your stamina to stand on your errands within the day.
Well, maybe, in your situation, you just need to be creative in preparing your breakfast. Let say, you just want to eat a simple breakfast, wheerein, a pair loaves of bread plus an egg and a bacon on the side. With this, perhaps, you can add up a little spice, as you can put a small cut of lettuce and a piece of cucumber just to mesmerize your eyes. Adding a cup of brewed coffee will also help you to feel hungry. Or, if you want to eat a somehow sort of heavy breakfast, then, you can try to prepare cup of fried rice mixing a piece of egg plus a bits of bacon match with pieces of green peas and carrots pairing this to a fried meat (tocino, tapa, or chicken) plus a cup of coffee. The savour and smell of the fried meat plus the fried rice and the coffee as well, will surely brought you to crave somehow to eat.
There are a lot of reason why we lost appetite, but, as far as I know, the very first one is the food that we eat. How this foods are being prepared in the dining table. Hence, there are times, if we saw the food presentation is nice, our mind will think that it is indeed delicious, and because of this, our stomach will somehow have the hungry feeling. Though, we are not really hungry at all. However, there are some instances, although we are hungry, since we do not like how the food was prepared, we will just convince our self not to eat anymore. As this will be the start of loosing appetite. And as I have said, there were a lot of reasons, and this is only a part of it.

Hi there kingparker :)
Do you know a place where people on average live the longest? It's called Okinawa island in Japan. US has its military base on that particular island, just a side info. BBC made an article on this so you can check it out.
When asked about their secrets to longevity the answer that you'd most probably get is "Eat only when you're hungry and only until you're 80% full."
You might be leading a healthy lifestyle there buddy! :D

Hi, I will never thought that eating fruit in some kind of sickness, even for breakfast. I believe that whatever comes from nature is good for our health as long as we didn't over-consumed it. One of my neighbor kid only eat bananas and drink milk everyday, she's rarely eat her meal, and stay healthy. Don't worry about loosing your appetite, I hope it's just temporarily, you'll get it back. Good luck.

I have been led to the idea that eating little and often, with breakfast as the most important meal,as being the best regime. Breakfast is exactly what it says the breaking of the nighttime fast and even if only if a little is eaten to calm the stomach acids it should be fine. The wost thing is to worry about anything including food. Calm down and relax stop the worry and enjoy your little meals.

I would advise you to avoid noodle as much as you can. Tne other food you are taking to me seems ok but your are not taking enough amount. Breakfast been the first meal of the day should be strong enough to give you the strength that you need for the whole day or else you may feel tired most of the day.

I think my friend, you are already bored with what you are eating. It would be better if you think of what better tasting alternatives you can have for breakfast every morning.
I assume you are always in a hurry to go to work, that's why you must have those easy to prepare foods. Have you tried eating oatmeal for breakfast?
Try it my friend and pair it with eggs , hotdogs or any cold cuts that can be easily cooked. You need to eat breakfast well so you will have the energy and needed stamina for the morning.

You must know that morning breakfast is the most important table of day.
And think that in other place, other time, some people haven't food, and they die because it.

maybe you are just getting bored with the food because its always been like that, noodles and bread.try being creative,i always do that in my daughters breakfast, she is so picky, she don't like repetition with what she is eating. That is why i have to always try something new at least with the looks. And also, foods you buy outside like bakeries are of same taste and looks and texture your taste buds might be asking for something new...
