Vegetables are very good for health in any form but best to be raw or steamed. I have a steamer and use to cook this way very often. Now it depends on the vegetables. I like broccoli to be cooked in a steamer. Some vegetables are more tasty if eaten only raw such as a salad. All vegetables are healthy in any form but not overcooked!

I have always heard that eating raw veggies is better because cooking generally breaks down a lot of the nutrition in the food. Lately, I have been juicing both fruits and veggies and I'm hoping that will help me a lot. That has been suggested to me several times in the past, but it took my latest cancer recurrence to make me take action. I just hope that doing this helps improve my health more than just the chemotherapy alone. Have a great week!!!

Anything that is common in salad like lettuce, chopped carrots, and tomatoes are easy and good to eat raw. Some vegetables are not very enjoyable to eat raw like broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbages. Basically I prefer any hard or rough vegetables to be cooked for easy consumption.
There's never wrong with cooking vegetables. It would help kids that have difficulty eating vegetables to start getting into them.

I prefer eating raw veges over half-cooked veges even though some prefers them cooked bacause they said that washing alone can not destroy the potential organisms that can be destroyed via cooking. Anyways, I still love eating raw cucumber, baby carrot, lettuce and tomatoes plus ceasar salad dressing. ;-)

I only eat raw veggies in vegetable salad. So that would mean, I only eat a few raw vegetables. I mostly eat cooked vegetables in dishes. Sometimes I eat half-cooked but I really prefer cooked as it is more tasty that way.

I like my veggies either raw, lightly steamed (crunchy) or sauteed. I agree with you that raw is much more nutritious. I also like to use frozen vegetables in my recipes in addition to fresh.

Once in a while, yes I do prefer to some veggies raw. I especially like carrots and brocolli, I have heard its a bit more healthy. But when I eat them raw, especially with brocolli I love to eat it with blue cheese YUMMY!!! Unfortunately the blue cheese takes away all the healthy portion of it, but it is so good.

I think it would have to depend upon how it is cooked. Of course there are some dish that require the vegetables to be cooked. As for salads, of course the veggies have to be raw. That is why it is a salad. So, I think I can not really answer this question. After all, I eat meat and pork a lot. I don't like vegetables.

Raw food diets are part of a growing health trend. Consuming vegetables in their natural raw state has proven to be helpful with weight loss and in balancing nutrition needs with a lot of taste. Raw vegetables can be excellent for every meal and even snack.wash the vegetables thoroughly. This is true even for organic vegetables. The point of eating raw is to get the best nature has to offer, but that does not include consuming any fertilizers and pesticides, even if they are composed of natural ingredients. Use colors to create a visually appealing meal or snack. Strips of red, yellow, and green bell peppers mixed with sliced carrots, radish rosettes and tasty chick peas makes a great presentation, tastes great and is loaded with nutrition.

Oh I like vegetable salads very much so i eat these things raw. Medicinal values of some vegetables when cook is being lost so I prefer it uncooked. Also salad of fresh fruits like banana, papaya, pineapple and other fruits of the season when mixed together will give you a taste that suits your tongue and quite refreshing feeling.

I love to eat raw food like cucumber, lettuce, spring onions and cress for a salad. I add a vinegary like salad dressing on top of it. I love to eat raw carrots, white cabbage, red cabbage and cauliflower raw. The only vegetable that is better cooked is the potato. I like to eat soup that is made from vegetables. It is hot and I warm it up from the tin into a bowl in my micro wave.
