I think some foreigners already have the knowledge about our country since just recently, Puerto Galera's Under Ground River become part of the Seven Wonders of the World.

Videos on youtube would be very effective, I thin. Since many people watch different kinds of videos everyday- and our videos would reach across the globe. We could have commercials too in their shows abroad- although that is quite expensive.

Our country is still using the most tradtional ways of promoting but even if we did promote, first hand views and reviews are one of the best ways of getting promoted for free. Our country have thousands of rivers or water inlets but we don't have enough bridges or boats to even transfer cargo let alone people. We must first establish a good transport system, then a good security then after that tourist will surely come.

It's hard to promote the Philippines to the tourists these days because of the ongoing war in Mindanao that really affects our country's progress. First is we should make other countries aware that Luzon and Visayas are safe because wars are only occurring in certain remote Mindanao areas. I think posting the beautiful places of the Philippines and the hospitality of the Filipinos are one way to promote our country. If people think that our country is safe then we can get lots of tourists. Currently about 700,000 Koreans visit our country every year making South Korea as the top country that visits the Philippines then followed by the US.
