Do you like to meet new people?

I do like meeting new people but then I don't really do it because I am a shy person. Although when someone comes to me I do end up talking to that person. Whenever they talk to me, I get nervous that I have nothing to say but other than "hi" and all these other greeting words. I do try and keep the conversation going and sometimes and goes well but I wouldn't be the one starting one or being the first to talk (as I'm a shy person).

I love meeting new people and I find it interesting to talk to the people that I meet. I like to listening to their stories and I like hearing about their thoughts and experiences. I have had many jobs where I worked with people, and I have found all those jobs interesting, because they gave me the chance to meet many different kinds of people. I love to meeting new friends as well, it is always interesting. When I was younger I was very shy, and it was hard for me to meet new people, but today I feel much more confortable talking to people I don't know.

I do like to meet new people but I've found I don't always make a lasting connection with people I meet online. I joined a league that plays competition games for fun on pogo.com. I was friends with people in the league but not as close as some of them seemed to be. Some even took vacations together. I was a good bit younger then most of the other players though I guess. I'd like to meet more new people and make connections. I like to be social.

I am a people's person and if I find people with whom I can intereact at a level that I enjoy, more the merrier. myLot is such a place and I must say that I have met many here with whom I have a cordial relationship.

I like to meet new people. But the new people must like us to socialize with us.

Hi Informer, I consider people like walking books. Every person out there has some unique knowledge, experience and wisdom. So I am always open to meet new people. Though, being introvert a bit, the first move is generally by the other people. But I meet a lot of new people on the social media and have now a large network of people I have met online. I really admire some new people I have befriended online for their deep knowledge and intellect. I get to learn a lot, notwithstanding my age! I am a believer in 'Let noble thoughts come to us from every side'. It is through such new people, other than new books or sites that diverse thoughts & ideas flow. So, always a pleasure meeting new people. :)

I like to meet new people.. Although I am shy so sometimes its hard for me.. My kids are now in school and I am really making an effort on meeting and talking to all the parents which I am enjoying doing..

To an extent, I suppose I might. Of course, I'm always slightly nervous, because without any prior knowledge about a person, when you meet them face to face, you really don't really know how you will get along with them. Even if you heard about them through another person, then you still don't really know. I have heard bad things about people through another and gotten along rather well with them all things considered. So yeah, there is a lot of feeling out on a person. Trying to figure them out and I hopefully feel that they are a good enough person where I can coexist with them. Still there are going to be a lot of times where I am a bundle of nerves rather quickly, trying to figure people out, trying to really feel them out a lot of the time. So to an extent yes, but you just never know what you're going to get when you meet new people.

I don't really have good social skills and I am moody too. But I also like to meet new people with the same interests as I do, so we can get along and it won't be awkward...

Personally I am more of a loner and keep to myself type of gal. I mean I don't have a problem with meeting new people, but it is sometimes a bit more difficult for me than for others.

Hmmmmmmm I always like meet to new people and then make friendship but not close and talking with them telling jokes and laughing more. Then they said ohhhhh really you are very funny but specially in train traveling. I start a topic like education system of India, beggers in the train etc. and everyone join it and put their views some time fun also in talking. I love talking.

hello, Yeah, It really seems to enjoy having new people around you especially if they are nice to you. right? I love to meet new people when I am in a mood but not always because sometimes I am shy of some people.

I am more of a private person. This is the reason I do not like meeting new people. However, it is a must for me to meet new people because I am in sales, and my work deals with selling and marketing. I have to smile constantly, even if I dont feel like it. I think I have to shift my job from marketing into becoming a monk.

Certainly, it is always very enjoyable to meet and make friends with people from countries and cultures around the world. We can learn a lot from one another, geography, history, culture, languages, business, and so on. When I travel abroad, I like making friends with people there.

Of course, i always like to make a new friend. I consider a new person I meet first time as a white page. For the time, he shows his characteric, I will specify if I would meet him again.
