Well, when I read too much I'll get eye strain. It's very uncomfortable and I can say that my vision is a complete blur. I am myopic, -1,5 already but since I don't really do something that requires me to see far, I don't wear glasses. Make sure you rest for a while after reading or eyes will get tired.

I started wearing eye glasses when I was at college, because I could not see the letters the professor was writing on the black board. I had to keep changing the power too for better visibility. But, surprisingly, as I became older, my eye sight improved. Today, I can read books without glasses.

I don't really have problem during reading, but I am myopic, I cannot see things that are far from me. My eyes are -1,5 already, a doctor has prescribe me glasses, however I don't feel like I'm going to wear it. Glasses are such a burden for me.

During my graduation i went to doctor for a routine check up .That time i had a compliant regarding headache. For this doctor recommended me spects.. I was shocked and neglected that and didn't used the spects. This made my sight number grow in 6 months. After that i am using spects while working with computer and also studying.

Yes, I have blurred vision, astigmatism, and hyperopia (farsightedness). It started when I was in 4th grade. I was only 9 years old when my eye sight started to blur. I couldn't read small letters in the board without eyeglasses. Now, I only wear contact lenses when I'm in school. And I wear eyeglasses when I'm at home.

Yeah I had similar problems right before I had to get my glasses. It felt a bit strange having to get glasses the first time believe it or not. Now I'm really not sure if I can really really live without them. These days, ever since I had gotten my glasses, few if any problems. And the rare times problems tend to pop up like about every five or so years, really, that just is a sense that I need to have the glasses really changed a lot of the time. I just glad that it was not more serious. Something that a pair of glasses could not correct. I doubt that anyone would really want to deal with something like that at any age. At least, I really know that I would not. So yeah, problems, if that happens, likely you'll need glasses. Or better glasses as the case may be. At least that is what we hopefully will assume. Hopefully things will not go down to a level where something stronger is needed.

I never thought I had bad eyesight until I actually went to go get my eyes checked. I found out not only did I need glasses, but I also had a stigmatism. When my glasses were ready to be picked up, the lady told me to look at the clock without my glasses, then look at it after I put them on. The difference was amazing! I had no idea what I was missing out on. Since then, my glasses broke so I'm back to my old eyesight struggling to read. :( It could be worse I guess, but I feel your pain.

I always have teary eyed when I read in a longer period. I don't know why. Probably this is cause of over stressing. It hurts so much when I'm not reading in a proper position. This is all my fault because I slept very late every night and still washed my eyes. Now, I learned to value my eyes. When it is so tired already, I stop reading and rest. I looked onto the green leaves outside, it helps a bit.

Yes I do have a problem with my eyes when reading, I need to take eyeglasses on or put contact lenses on to clearly see the letters. Otherwise I would have to stick my face in the screen^^ I guess my eyesight problem started in college when I was always in front the computer.. Well until now I am always in front of the laptop. ^^ I felt great the first time I had the lenses on, the glasses seems to bother my vision because of the frames. Which is why I wear the glasses only when at home, and contacts when I'm outside.
