I encountered numerous and conflicting explanations and theories on where we go after death. Some say to heaven, some say to hell and some also say that our life entities do merge with the life force of the universe to wait for another rebirth. I am inclined to believe the later. However, for the sake of further enlightenment, will you guys please share your ideas and opinions on this mystery of life. Feel free to share what you have in mind and it will be appreciated Have a great day.

I am a person who believe in the Judgment Day, hence I believe in Heaven and Hell :).
Besides it's coming from my belief, it also may give me some greater passion and greater optimism in life.
There are TOTAL justice in Judgment Day.
Bad people will get punished, good people will get rewarded.
See the world nowadays,
Many good people are being treated improperly, and many bad people don't get what they deserve.
So, by believing that Heaven and Hell exist, we can have more optimistic life - every good deeds that we are doing are NOT something useless. It would be rewarded at the very end..

Yes, heaven and hell have become both incentive and deterrence. Heaven is an incentive to do good and hell deters people from committing sin. Furthermore, I agree with you that heaven and reward afterlife provides optimism and purpose in life. Heaven sounds good, but is there really a heaven or hell ready to accept the good and the bad after they die? Or perhaps heaven is just a life condition attainable during life time? Meaning when one is in complete happiness on earth he is actually in heaven. When one lives a horribly miserable life he/she is actually already in hell. The heaven or hell during life time is worth considering since nobody yet has come back to life to confirm or deny the existence of both in another dimension.. Whatever is your belief I respect it. Having different views makes life exciting. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Great day for you.

To a spiritual plane that suits us. Jesus Christ said "There are many houses in the lands of my Father", that's what He meant.
Those who helped by being activists, volunteers, those who had compassion and tried to become a better person can die at peace.
Those who only worked for their personal and family gain, only career was important, they might never done something bad but they didn't do anything good either and that's what counts.
Have a very nice day.
