He can do that because the difference of the culture he is living in. The social accepts to marry with many wivies and the women also accepts it. So theu dont conpuse and fight together if they got a common husband. I don't like a husband have many wives but I respect his country and their culture. Anyway, this family may be a guiness record.

Wow my friend it says it takes 30 chickens to make one dinner. Wow imagine what breakfast time is like. That seems like way too much for one man to handle alone. My goodness the home looks very well organized despite all the people living in it. Wow some men cannot take care of two, let alone 39 wives. That really has to be a very crowded home.

Hmmm 39 wives, sounds ridiculous, he must be financially sound enough to handle those many wives. With the cost of living getting higher and higher day by day in India it's almost impossible to even think about having a second wife. The guy is pervert. This's not the thing one should feel proud about especially in a country like India where population is more a problem than anything else. If this guy starts getting the publicity which he's getting right now more and more people will be encouraged to have so many wives and babies leading to population explosion in India and making the life of average earning individual worse than anything else. This guy should be put behind the bars for the act he's committed. If he was so eager to have children simply he should have adopted them from orphanage and I'd have been the first person to praise him for that act, but not this time, I detest his act, it's absolutely rubbish way to gain cheap publicity.

Hi, how that is come, there are a lot of problem to get fair with each of them. it is difficult for him or for any one to have a good schedule for their wives. also how he control his big family budget. God with him, and with any similar one.

good lord, how could he manage it both ways. the simple man cannot handle even one wife, so how about 39 and how dos he manage to feed these people, must be super rich. phew!

Oh my god....I can't believe this....I saw this news in television...It will be very nice to live in such situation....Sometimes the father will not know his child and grand child...Because of the huge no. of them...There have a chance for fight among wives, Child and Grand child...Some times,My parents are remembering us the difficulty of growing us.... :-)

He must be very rich since it will take a lot of money to be able to take care his family. He mentioned in the article that he has not stopped looking for a new wife. I think he will have more wives and children since I think he is not that old. I'm glad that me and my husband don't belong in the sect of Mr. Chana. We are only allowed to marry one partner. I'm the jealous type and like my man to be all mine :)

In news, I am still doubt. The man must be very rich yeah. How can he afford his life and his wife, children and grand children ? They are all residing in one house together without fighting. It's amazing. I have ever heard of a story from my mom. In the past, it's not far from my village there was king who married around ten women. If he is really a king, I believe he can marry, because it's long ago, there was culture who wish to change their daughter with money for the reason respect and traditional life.

Well I think this is just sick. I have quite open mind but if we talking about marriage I'm rather conservative. One husband to one wife. More than this is just sick in any culture. Sorry if I abuse someone by my opinions but this is what I think.
