i am user of linux. In linux there are many best software application can't running on. But in Microsoft, all of best software in this world can running on. I prefer Microsoft but i don't have enough money to buy it. I don't know about apple, but as i know apple is the most expensive operating system

Honestly, it does not matter to me! I still use the regular microsoft and windows programing but I prefer to use mac by apple. It's not much different - but I can say that because I do not know anything about programming itself. I know that I like apple products and actually prefer them. It has never seemed much different to me - just different words...for the same tasks really.

In my opinion all three (different operating systems) have always been around but just were used for different applications and had a slightly different market share. This is changing but then so is computing. Linux was really unix open source and took off for use in servers and some home pc's where the user wanted something that was free and could be developed. Microsoft was pure marketing genus and became the gem of application developers making it very popular in the area of home computers Apple manufactured not only software but hardware, well focused in education and graphical applications In the future we might see things merging unless of course something really new comes along and opens even more doors to the computing world.
