It's hard for me to say one is the greatest, the Ramones are probably close to the very top. I'd also include: The Clash, Bob Marley & The Wailers, The Replacements and The Misfits, and of course the best of the Ramones devotees: The Queers.

I love The Ramones. Their version of Needles and Pins is, IMO, by far the best. I also love the lyrics. I find them funny. Come on, no one wants to be buried in a pet cemetary! Everyone can relate. hee hee hee.
