When you were in grade school and first learning about life what was your favorite subject? And why? was there a specific thing that you enjoying learning about, or was there a teacher that made it fun to learn?
Now that you are an adult and exploring the world and topics by yourself with full freedom, what subject are you most interested in?
I find with age these interests sort of change.
In school I loved English or Literature. I could read and write well, and learning about it was fun. History was so boring because I always had boring teachers, and science was so confusing. I didn't see how these things had any thing to do with me. Now I see how they have EVERYTHING to do with me. I mean science is why we are here and human, and I love history for the same reason. It tells how we got where we are today. Genealogy is an interesting subject to me.
What things in life do you want to learn more about? What intrigues you?

I loved Biology so much because I always had something to learn from it and our daily life mostly revolve around biological studies. I wanted to pursue this study in higher education but Mathematics got me regretting why I virtually neglected it. In my country, it is a must that one has to pass mathematics in every profession one wanna pursue in life.

Yes math is hard. It was one of my hardest subjects in school. But it really does have to do with everything also just as science. But the thing about math is it's all using basic set principles. You just have to learn and remember how to use them, which is the tricky part. Which me having a bad memory I have to keep lots of notes. Anyhow you should keep trying to live out your dream. Don't let anything stop you.

My favorite subject was Geography. It was then, and today too. I just love Geography, learning about countries, places, and people around the world. Yes, indeed, my teacher was wonderful teaching the subject, and that made me get attracted to it in the first place.

So you like learning about different places and cultures, that's neat. So are you good at knowing where a place is on the map?

When I was at school my favourite subjects were languages. My local language is Danish and I learned 3 foreign languages at school: English, German and French. I loved learning new words and reading books in other languages. Today I still like learning new languages and I have learned a couple of new languages as an adult. I also loved Danish when I was at school and loved writing. Today I still write short stories and poems. I didn't like history when I was at school, but that changed when I got older and today I like to read historical books. I also love to read about psychology, that is one of my favourite topics today.

I have studied English, German, French, Italian, Japanese and Russian. I use English almost every day and I use German sometimes for instanse if I read German magazines. When I was living in Italy I was able to speak Italian, but since I got back to my own country it haven't used it much and I have forgotten many words. I don't use French much either. I like both Japanese and Russian, but I am still a beginner and I am not able to speak or read those languages like I speak English and Danish.

Wow that's amazing. How many languages can you speak now? That's a good talent being able to pick up other languages quickly.

Hello Natnickeep,
I always liked Maths in school as well as in college for 2 reasons:
1.We had very beautiful lady teacher in school which made me always interested in maths lectures.
2.I wanted to become an engineer from childhood so i knew it maths is essential for an engineer so i always took interest in it.

Yep math can apply to anything and everything even though we don't realize it. I wish I understood more about it. It gets confusing to me after the basics. But I keep trying.

I did love chemistry and history.
History: It is really good when I read regarding the past, not only the history of state or kingdom but also history of science also. Such, we learn history of mathematics, we can understand how people develop numerical system until the born of computer and the development until now.
Chemistry: I like to practice and react something and it become a new thing. Also the interaction between molecules. Up to how can we refine a substance to be useful for ourlife.

A lot of people seemed to be more interested in science and how the world works today. I think because in earlier times we were just worried about surviving. Now that things are easier we have more time to pursue knowledge. It's also great you are interested in science for trying to make life better.

Hi! I guess in my entire life as a student I has different experiences with subject and with their different assigned teachers. My favorite subject is English, from elementary to college, English was really fun for me. I had interesting teachers and English which is also compose of language and reading.I also enjoyed math because I was not good at it and it made me laughed to think that I really pass it despite my weaknesses. History was boring but some of it were interesting.

Science just fascinates me because I learn a lot from it.I specially loves astronomy and chemistry; that one of my wildest dream as a child is to become an astronaut and travel in space.I also wanted to be a chemical engineer but unfortunately landed on nursing.Well, there are still lots of science that it's not so disappointing anymore.

actually, it's hard for me to choose one subject that i like best. since childhood, i hate Chinese and math so much that onetime i even get none mark on my chinese course. and interestingly enough, at that time, my math should have gained a full mark. well, maybe influenced by that experience, later i became interested in math quite much. Bue now, it has been a year that i haven't came into contact with math, though i still like it very much and hold the idea that one should never forbidden the mathm, however, i'm timeless to enjoy math again as i have ever done.
