Cartoons on tv being aired early in the morning..

A pleasant day dear fellow mylotters,
There are times, I am really thinking, why those cartoons being aired on tv was placed in the morning time as early as 8 am. Wherein, it can be aired and place around in the afternoon or after lunch let's say 1 pm. And this is also the reason why my nephew and niece always wake up as early as 7 am as they dont want to miss the show. Since they want to watch the cartoons, so they tend to wake up at this early although they are having their school semestral break. As a consequence, the time frame of their sleeping cycle is shortened. That, instead of sleeping they tend to wake up because of this cartoon shows.

Maybe the problem is in the stations. When I was a kid, I also wake up in the morning in order to watch my favorite cartoon show. Hope they change the time slot in order for the kids now to wake up early in the morning.

Yeah, I guess, tv stations should change the time slot of the cartoon show. As I remember, one time, a situation once happened in our home, wherein, my nephew dont like to to attend his school activity since he likes to watch cartoons.

hi,
my idea is because children usually wake up early in the morning thats why they air more cartoon movies,and because playing time is usually in the afternoon and probably less children watch for that time.even me when i was a child i woke up early in the morning just to watch my favorite cartoon movies.

I thought the reason why these shows shown early in the morning is for kids to watch it since they are just at home at that time... I just realize that normally kids don't wake up early.. Maybe there is no other time for kids shows there since it is usually other series or news in the after noon and at night.

Not even children, even my brother who is 25 of age is addicted towards cartoon. Your idea is good one. But it is very difficult to be followed.

Yeah I agree with you. I also don't get it why they air it so early. Maybe the reason why they didn't place it on an afternoon timeslot is because they think that children sleeps in the afternoon. But still, they could have placed it around 10 am. By that time, all kids can watch the show.

The run the cartoons when kids are home from school. That's why the are shown early in the morning during the week and all Saturday morning. Except for cartoon channels, why run them when their primary audience isn't available?

I can relate well with you since my nephew also does the same. I guess the reason why these shows are aired early is because they know that most audience(children) are at home at these times. Also, babies and toddlers who usually wake up early love these shows and for sure their parents will want their kids to enjoy. So instead of watvlching other shows, the parents will just leave it in that channel.

yeah, I also sigh with cartoons on TV. the time is not proper at all. cartoons on TV are also air at 5 to 8 am, whereas, 6-7am is time for children to get prepared to school cos schools begin at 7am. I have a four years old daughter. she studies at a kindergarten. I wake her up at 6am then shower her. but it's sometimes so difficult cos she prefers to watch cartoon to get rush to the bathroom. it can be worse when she gets new cartoon, she doesn't want to go to school (it happened yesterday..T_T) cos she doesn't want to miss the cartoon show. it's hard to make her understand that she is allowed to watch TV after school (maybe she knows that there's no cartoon movies after school). I hope the TV station could know this and they air cartoon only at 5 to 6..I really hope it happen..
