You are right my friend now everyone wants only money money and money they not respect the person even they are (daughter or son, father or mother). In some cases child not care their parents if they not paid money to them. But in your case your parents not like you because of money. But I feel when person gone they will empty hand no money then why they always think about money.

I'm not sure if I would say that money is the root of all evil. I definitely think that it does have something to do with greed, and that it does or may have a hand with regards to with evil or may have people do evil things for money. There's just a lot of things that will make someone become evil.

Is that serious? Even your own mother talk to you with a nice tone because she is in need of money desperately? Otherwise, her tone might be much harsher? That is unbelievable fact. In life, my ex also wants me to buy this and that for her, otherwise, she won't talk to me. How realistic most people are? I just become much more cynical in human nature.

Yes here on Mylot everyone is pretty much talking because of money and that is it. If Mylot never paid us to talk and post discussions, then there would be no one on here for long. Just like Facebook for instance, it will not last very long at all cause it will get boring after a while just like most social sites do. She is probably worried that she cannot afford her rent or pay for her utilities or food. And being a mother, she worries that someone might have taken advantage of you and caused you to loose your money. By the way, it is the love of money, not money itself that is the root of all evil. So it is not sinful to want money as long as it has been gotten honestly.

I hope I do not offend you, but I don't understand what you mean when you say that the saying is not applicable to you. It seems that without money, your mother does not talk with you, and thus in a way the greed for money has ruined your relationship with your mother. Do you live with her and thus play her a portion for the bills, or do you not live with her and just give her money? I don't understand it, I don't think it's right at all.

Hi airasheila. No, money is NOT the root of all evil but the GREED for money is. A lot of people miss out the "greed" word. Money is a necessity and we use it in order to survive. In fact, we can even use it as an instrument to do good deeds to other people. But when we greed for money, then that's when the evil begins.

For me, I dont have interpretation that the family matters when comes to money and its value to them. I love to earn money by a hard work and this comes in a right track constantly. I make sure that everything in my side is organized first and foremost before I let some of its part would be compensated by my family's requirement like payments on their bills. I have to make sure that I would pay my obligations since I can not go around the four corners of my house without thinking myself first. I am not greedy then and this makes me open to share what would qualify for them to receive something. I have to think myself well the way I am thinking their welfare on the contrary. I am so sad to think about your situation there right now, this is not a right one I suppose. I want to let you know that you should always give sufficient reservations, limit things accordingly and this would easily guide you to become a real daughter or son as well responding on their wellbeing. It is our obligation to respond but it is also their part to respect and love us. However, be strong on your decision and think wisely as you could not hinder the days to come and go. We are getting older and we should prepare now, better think it, I should say you have to save some of your earnings and do not let it spoil them and navigate their willingness to keep on spending and spending. that's a good thing to say that, in spite of negative things about money, it becomes a way or a bridge so that you can have a good communication between you and your mom. i bet your mom really loves you, even though you can't provide an allowance, just explain the situation and she'll understand.

Sorry but I don't understand this. You wish to have a lot of money so your mother will talk to you? What kind of of contact, chats you two have if you do give her money? I don't hear anything about loving you because you help her out whenever you can or even appreciating or respecting you. I can tell you this if I had a mother who only talks nice to me if I give her money I would kick her out of my life. Nobody needs family like that no matter if she is your mother or not.

I think money can be our best friend but I also believe it is the root of all evil. It is both. Money can do so much for us and open so many doors. We can help people when we have money. everyone who lives in the world needs money.money is just used to exchange the things you need.but first you must have money and then buy what you need. you can also exchange things if you reach an agreement.for example,you sell apples and he sells bananas,we can exchange if we are agreeable. money is just a middle tool for exchanging things,i think.money,is difficult to earn,easy to spend.

Hi Airasheila, actually money is not the root of all evil. It is the love of money that is the root of all evils. I do not know why you and your mother has such relationship. Probably you have a stormy past with her. I think we all are too selfish and greedy, and yet we blame money for the causes of our problems. When we have enough food to eat, or more than enough food to eat, we will waste food. If we do not have enough to eat, we will blame God, government or other people. We tend not to blame ourselves even though we are the ones at fault.

We have to communicate to others to get money. sometimes you have to take a lot of efforts to get money even though you have completed the work. But a mother will not be talking to her daughter or son only for money. Remember we cannot exist here without our mother bringing us here,.
