Here is a story of a writer scammer. What if you are being asked by a new client to write about 10 articles 700 words long and promised to pay you $9 each. During the process, she is very sincere and truthful but when she got the articles, she would never respond. Then, You found out she already published your article to one of the best article directories. Now she use the article to link to her numerous sites. She use 2 pen names as the author. What do you think is the best way to get even with blood sucker like this?

Hi there... I think you should report the Admin of the website that you're talking about... Write an e mail. Don't forget to add the names of the articles you've submitted, offer to help the admin in every possible way, also don't forget to add the pen names that the cheater is using... She'll be expelled from the site for plaigarism and you might claim the authority of your articles... Good Luck!!!

I agree with you Sunny, it is better to write for the trustworthy people than for such mugs, who can't do anything but live on others' intellectual qualities... Bl**dy parasites...

That is awful! I am not sure what I would do - I only write for passive income and for my own website.

If you are able to prove these are your articles you have to do that otherwise a person like this will go on stealing and filling her pockets with work done by others. Next time: don't send articles unless you get payed and if you do send that article send a pdf file with your name written big through it on the back ground or something like that. After the payment you can send the originial.

If that poor writer has the evidence that the one posted was not written by this author who uses pen names, that writer can make a blog regarding scammers like this author, just a warning for the others to be cautious. Unless, the two has policies agreed upon, or if the author did not pay the writer and ask permission to publish the writings and give the credits to the writer.

Get a lawyer. If you can't afford one, do some research. Write your own article about your experience and make it as widely known as possible. It is a sad state of affairs. Honesty and integrity have been replaced by money.

Hi Averygirl, where do you get a client like that? If you have the email correspondence, you can get the webmaster of the freelance job site to ban her. But that is the long term solution, since she can always use another name to register and cheats more people. I think you are better off writing for passive income. I think with your writing skills, you can easily make a few hundred dollars a year in passive income.
